Javahz Cafe & Espresso — Restaurant in Tampa

While in the area, I was in the mood for coffee and a quick sandwich, so I searched nearby and found Ja-Vahz Cafe.

The cafe has convenient parking right out front, making it an easy stop. The ambiance inside was pleasant and welcoming. From the menu, I ordered a black hot coffee and the Breakfast Sandwich with meat. My coffee arrived first, perfectly brewed and served hot, just the way I like it.

From my seat, I could see the staff preparing my sandwich fresh and toasting it to perfection. When it arrived, it didn't disappoint. The chicken in the sandwich was flavorful and delicious, and it was served with a side of fresh fruit, which was a nice touch.

This is a place that does all the little things right. Take something simple like a bagel and cream cheese. The bagel doesn't taste like it's from a grocery store freezer section, and the cream cheese is actual cream cheese, not cream cheese spread. In my experience, both of those things are rare in a breakfast place that doesn't specialize in bagels. Or take the sandwiches with deli meats. They use really thick slices, and the result is a sandwich that feels more substantial than a deli meat sandwich typically will. A Hidden Gem with Heart! The food here is made with love — you can taste it in every bite. The espresso was incredible, rich and smooth — just like grandma would’ve made it. Even the toast was perfectly buttered and seasoned, which says a lot about the care they put into every detail. What really made the experience special was Shawne, the owner.
