I have never been so incredibly disappointed .. I have attempted to eat at his location many times. NOT only did they ignore me fully MY FIRST 3 ATTEMPTS ....(no speaker answer).. For some reason I just kept going back to try to order...Well after all it is a restaurant that's what you go to do is order food and eat.....
Of course I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured i was mistaken and maybe it was just a busy times of the day I went.
Nope, gets better....the 4th visit was at 1:00pm on a Thursday. I sat at the speaker again , and realized nobody was coming to take my order. I THOUGHT well ....maybe the speaker's broken (still trying to justify their actions ...or lack there of) ... So I decided to pull to the window.. All the lights were on ..yet not a soul was inside..!!! .. I was actually so amused at this point that I just had to find out if anyone was even in there. I KNOCKED ON the WINDOW... it took A WHILE for A mean lady to pop in view..(mind you..she is still staying 15 'feet back from the window itself) ... She started screaming "We are closed!!" .... I said "Wow, can't you put a sign out for the people that are waiting in line??!! Do you realize there are 9 cars waiting behind me..???".. She turned round and walked away ...... Let's to say I called my daughter who was disappointed for the 5th time now that we weren't going to try crystal burgers..
Now why I try it again which is a 6th visit is beyond me... Think it's just because I want to see if I can ever order. Now when I pulled up Saturday afternoon 12 o'clock in the afternoon the lady answered the speaker I actually started saying "oh my God , I can't believe someone's actually answering me ....I can't believe it!! I'm actually going to eat a krystal burger .!! I am so shocked....!!!! The lady replied completely nonchalant "what do you want'"??
AT THAT Point I didn't care how The lady REACTED --. I was so f#%×% happy that I was gonna be eating a crystal Burger!! So it was literally the farthest thing from my mind (her attitude...) Anyway , I proceeded to make an order! And after I placed the order, given a total.....at the last second, Lady comes back on and says " Yea, so we outta 🍔 burgers, itz a 36 minute wait to cook them....." I forget it I am done...
Read moreI was very disappointed with the appearance of the restaurant as well as the staff and food. I stopped in for a to-go lunch but went inside because I had to use the restroom.
As you walk in, it is apparent that the facility is on serious need of renovation. It is outdated, uninviting and dull. The kitchen and dining room has old, cracked tiles that looked like it is in dire need of pressure washing. The kitchen is dim, and outdated as well. I was only in the restaurant for roughly 15-20 minutes and I felt depressed. I felt sorry for the staff as I couldn't imagine being forced to spend and entire day working there. The restroom was old and dank. Although they have a schedule for cleaning posted on the wall, it doesn't appear that they stick to it as the trash was full and there was urine on the floor.
I stood at the counter for what seemed to be a long time (as I was the only customer on line) while I watched the individuals (one of whom appeared to be the manager based on her attire) all gathered around the person working the drive-thru. There was one other lone employee who appeared to be working the grill. The three employees were not helping the drive-thru employee or the one on the grill but were engaged in gossip with the manager over the VERY personal life of another unknown employee who was not present at the time. I felt very uncomfortable listening to it, and was extremely disappointed that the manager was actually leading the discussion rather than actively helping service the customer, help the staff, move the product and most importantly - behave like a manager and set an example for her team.
The food was hot, but both the presentation and taste were poor. The burgers were haphazardly thrown together and crushed (surprising as there were only four of them). The flavor was also "off" and tasted weird. I must admit, it's been over two years since I've visited Krystal's, so I think they must've changed the recipe for the steamed onions they use as a topping. This particular restaurant location is one of the last of two of the last remaining Krystals in this area and its days are probably numbered. I know that I did decide that this was to be my last visit...
Read moreI visited with my sister and she opted for the drive thru. First there was no greeting just told to provide her order, she stated her order which was as follows: Krystal's pack with cheese, no pickles or onions, 2 small cokes and a large fry. When we arrived at the window the employee was rude, barely spoke in a manner that is appropriate for a customer service job. He mumbled and looked as if he rolled out of bed after sleeping in his uniform for several days. After paying he handed her one drink (which ended up being diet and felt as if left out for a little bit, with the ice melted and the cup dripping moisture). She inquired about the other drink and was told I only heard one now go park over there and it will be out. After waiting for some time the drive thru employee walked out and handed her the burgers,no fries. When asked about the fries there was a sigh and I was going to go back and get them. Next we checked the burgers which were full of pickles and mustard. When the drive thru guy came out she told him the order was not correct, in turn he said, well I didn't hear that, there's nothing I can do. My sister handed him the box of burgers and said I don't want these I would like the correct order. He fussed a little more, then said hold on. A young lady approached us and asked us what the issue was. My sister explained the issue and she said oh is that all and asked if she would please give her an opportunity to correct the order. She also asked if we wanted anything else, such as a refund or extra drink/fries? We said we appreciated the gesture but all we wanted was the correct burgers and that is all. I am not quite sure what her job title was or her name, but she should have been working with all customers then relocate that guy in the drive thru to food prep or out the door. I have family members who are under 10 who would have handled the entire situation...
