DUMMY CRABBY — Restaurant in Tampa

My wife and I like seafood boil meals, so we decided to try Dummy Crabby last night for dinner.

The atmosphere, as depicted in annexed photos, is bright, casual and lively but not to any extent that interferes with table conversation.

Our server Nani was attentive and helpful in answering questions such as those related to spice levels, of which a number of chocies are available. She was busy but friendly and available when needed.

My wife opted for Combo A, which is made up of 1/2 lb. of snow crab, 1/2 lb. of headless shrimp, 1 lobster tail with 1 corn and two potatoes. Choices of seasoning are Dummy Crabby Special Seasoning (comprised of Old Bay, Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic, Butter+) or Plain Garlic Butter. My wife chose a spice level of 2 and the Dummy Crabby Special Seasoning. Combo A is $36.95. My wife loved the flavor of her dish. Everything that she wanted.

I ordered the 1 lb. of Shrimp which comes with 1 lb. of Black Mussels. The price was $20.95. I also asked for the spice level of 2 and the Dummy Crabby Special Seasoning. I like mussels well enough, but was happily shocked at how well the seasoning enhanced the flavor of the mussels. The shrimp was great but the mussels were suprisingly even tastier. I was served 2 cobs of corn and 4 potatoes as a part of my dish. All wonderful and appreciated.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dummy Crabby in the Tampa Bay Area, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm and friendly service that made us feel right at home.

I ordered from here for the first time from UBER Eats. I had never heard of them but the deal they had sold me. (Without checking the reviews which is not like me at all) We got the order and it smelled amazing even through the bag!!! I ordered the snow crab legs with their suggested seasoning and it was made to perfection the meal was still hot and was so delicious I never even took a picture we just dug in. My roommate and I decided we would come online and leave a review of how delicious the food was. I wanted to check out the other reviews and I wasn’t surprised to see a 4.9 rating I was however surprised to see it wasn’t a fancier place because the food literally tastes like it was made in a much fancier restaurant. I can’t wait to come in and eat again. Anyway, back to what I was saying about the reviews I was curious about the bad reviews so I clicked on lowest and MAN OH MAN WAS I EVER SURPRISED AT THE RESPONSES the restaurant gives when you leave your reviews! I absolutely love their honestly and love that they know exactly who their customers are and what happened during the interactions that they can clap back if necessary but also humbled enough to state (to honest reviews) “thank you for making us better.” This will be my new crab place and for the one you lost 3weeks ago YOU JUST GAINED THREE MORE LAST TODAY!!!...
