The place serves a quick breakfast and lunch selections of Filipino style dishes. Including some tasty treats to enjoy later. --- And yes, if you get a chance, they're also open for dinner. The table setting and atmosphere feel during dinner brings us older folks back to the good old days (when there were no smart phones). As if time seem to slow down and allowing you to remember the good times with a love one... with some soft music in the air adding to the appeal....

It’s been years since I last visited this place. I dined in and ordered a 3-choice: mongo bean stew, ground pork picadillo, and pinakbet. The mongo bean stew was really tasty, as well as the pinakbet however I wished the pinakbet had more pumpkin and pork. They sold the biggest Arizona ice-tea I have ever seen.

They have limited but spacious seating indoors. Great place for cheap Filipino food...

Since I'm half pinoy- Cabalen is my 1st choice to eat Filipino food. Food here is good and closes to ethnicity of P I food. I usually eat here about 4X a week. The fried chicken , Okoi, chicken tinola an adobo are so good. They have other selections/ choices. Soooo it's best to come try the food for yourself. Only...
