Maya's Filipino Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

The definition of a hole in the wall, this place will not disappoint! I haven’t eaten much Filipino food, but Maya’s was delicious. I had the chicken adobo, peanut butter pork, rice, and some purple dessert with plantains and coconut milk. The food is buffet style and you pick what you want. And it was so cheap! My whole dinner was under $10.

The flavor of the chicken adobo was fantastic. Full of flavor and just enough heat. The only negative is there are huge bones and not a lot of meat. It was hard to get the meat off the bones and there will a bunch of little bones shards that made chewing difficult.

The peanut butter pork was very peanut buttery and a nice flavor.

I do not recommend anybody eat here. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Here are four reasons why:

The man serving the food was very rude and unprofessional. His attitude overall was downright negative.

They’re quite stingy with their portions. They would probably give you as little as they could.

I saw some cockroaches crawling around the corners of restaurant, which is nasty.

And finally, the food itself was NOT good. The quality is subpar.

I recommend going to any other Filipino restaurants like Josie’s. I won’t be coming back here again as I am concerned about the quality and cleanliness...

This restaurant used to be one of my go to filipino restaurants in guam. But there’s this one staff/employee of this restaurant that treated me and my brother poorly. That woman was so rude. I am just so disappointed to get that kind of treatment from a fellow filipino. Napakabastos at poor ng service. So if youre not dressed as decent as other customers dont even dare to go to this restaurant coz im sure as hell that staff wont treat you with respect. Good food, poor service.
