Cookies and Ice Cream?
Together at last!
And I don’t mean as a sandwich.
That’s right, Acme Ice Cream Parlor offers several ice cream flavors that are partnered with America’s favorite baked treat - the cookie.
As soon as we arrived at Acme Antiques and Ice Cream Parlor, we knew we had found someplace special.
The entire store was adorned, inside and out, with unique and fun antiques. There was an antique lion who greeted us on the way in, and an antique giraffe who bid us goodbye on the way out.
And who doesn’t want to sit next to Elvis with their ice cream cone!?
Even the patio had an antique circus car that looked like a fun ride!
We were lucky - we arrived when there was a lull in business. It didn’t last long, as the place was packed by the time we got our orders!
So, let’s talk about cookies and ice cream. Acme offers a variety of flavors featuring cookies!
Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster.
Oatmeal Cookie Craving.
And many more.
So what did we enjoy? My husband opted for his tried and true Oreo Cookies and Cream in a waffle cone. A coffee fan myself, the Coffeehouse Cookies and Cream Oreo ice cream was the perfect choice!

For those reasons I can't give it more...
Read moreThis is overall a place I would love to go to again. The employees are so nice to me whenever I come inside for a little treat after school and I always love to see the smiles on their faces with warm welcomes. They also have an amazing atmosphere that no other place in tappahannock has, 1950's diner themed, which makes it very unique compared to others, like a step back in time. If your not from tappahnnock, it's totally worth the drive! They have amazing milkshakes, sundaes and decent sied portions. And of course you can't forget to see their antique store next door to them, three stories, amazing for a rainy day activity with the family! (This is an old review from about a year ago, just wanted to add pictures...
