218 Bar — Restaurant in Tarentum

I don’t write reviews, and tend to cut restaurants a tons of slack. The restaurant business is extremely hard. However, our experience at this place was pretty bad. Our apps came exactly an hour after ordering them, and we literally never got our main course we ordered. After waiting an hour and a half with kids at our table, we had to throw in the towel. I think the worst part of it was that there was zero communication of what was going on. You gotta let the customers know what’s going on, especially after waiting so long. And we weren’t the only ones that were getting restless due to not getting food- others were getting visibly irritated because they weren’t receiving what they ordered. Eventually we just paid for our drinks (they did comp the apps BUT only after fighting them on it- I mean, we did wait an HOUR for them). Again, I don’t ask much when I go out to eat, but I do require food when I do- and some communication as to why it’s taking so long...

Best place to come for good food and great friends they have awesome bartenders and a fun environment to be. It's a good place to grab a drink they are reasonable with their prices and I've made alotta friends drinking at 218 I highly recommend this bar to anyone...
