To go service: I understand short staffing, I understand mistakes happen, however when it seems to be the same mistakes even when ordering almost at least 6months apart, that’s just laziness, lack of attention, and zero customer care. I know it’s not a tipping issue because there’s been times where I’ve tipped 22% on a to-go order and still had an issue. Also, I have (and still currently do) worked in the food industry for a while now (specializing in to-go in two major restaurants), and the only reason these issues happen is because of the lack of pride in your job (all of these food service jobs are also a second job that is a means to an end, but if it is my responsibility and part of my job description, I will perform my job to the best of my ability and make sure it is done accurately), and management doesn’t care. The food isn’t all that bad, but the fact customers get charged extra for sauces (which is completely understandable), just to not get it is absolutely ridiculous, especially after the order came to $140 before tip! Time and time again, this specific location cannot seem to read a ticket and count the sauces they are bagging (or not considering our order never gets the correct amount of sauces, or if it is the correct amount it is not the correct sauce). One time we were missing a ln entire entree which was corrected. We keep saying no more no more no more from here, but as already said, sometimes you just can’t beat certain tastes and it’s once in a great while we’ll go for some decent pub food. I’m all set from this location after this though. No reason at all I order two extra ranches, and two extra honey mustards, and only receive three extra honey mustards. Four sauces, two of each, just to get only three and they are all the same? This job is not that hard. I’ve done it for years, even during the height of COVID. This poor service makes the entire meal worse off than it sometimes is; leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Especially if customers are paying for it, please, check the chit before you split.

Read moreI don’t recommend their delivery. I ordered in their main website for delivery to my address. I didn’t know that the delivery driver is from door dash until the confirmation. Its fine as long as its safe and they guaranteed that its safe and less contact. However, when tracking of my order says delivered and the food is not here, I contacted the driver to ask where he left it but I cannot understand the driver. Plus the actual gps of the driver where it says delivered is not even close to my address. So I contacted 99 restaurant to look for my order and I mention what the tracking says. The manager keep telling me that doordash is responsible for my food and they should deliver it to me. I waited another 30 minutes as 99 rest. manager told me but the food didn’t arrive. I call them again and demanded to replace my order since I pay $56 for it and I will just pick-up the food in their store. I was scared that the delivery guy will take my food back to the wrong address and that person might touched the food already. I understand this is convenient during the pandemic and we are all taking the risk as it is the new normal but I just wished they owned the problem and not blaming others (even doordash is at fault. I didnt order to them) I trusted 99 rest. to make my food and 99 rest. has a contract with doordash(per manager). But doordash didnt deliver the safe and convienient service. The two phone calls I had with them they keep insisting that its not their fault and keep blaming doordash as if they are not willing to replace my order if I didnt insist.
