Owner seems shady and careless. I once heard her yell at her cook to take a burger off the grill despite the cook insisting it wasn't done, and then proceeded to yell at her for trying to serve raw meat.

Then I happened to see her (the employee) at the bank once unknowingly trying to cash a bad check the owner wrote her for apparently the 3rd time.

Definitely disappointed! Would not recommend to anyone. A totally rip off!! I will never buy another cake from them. Paid $300 for a 20 person cake, that probably cost $100 to make! I wanted to die when I saw, and took it out of the box at the venue! Owner states, she would make it beautiful, and add things to it! Well we got a plain white cake with somewhat dead roses! Maria and her team are the absolute best. I love stopping in and picking up my fresh portuguese rolls weekly. While there my family always gets cheese, sweet rice and some treats. We order our meals from their regularly, we especially love the portuguese steak! Their menu has so many options just call in to order. They also have a buffet. Dont forget to pick up delicious malassadas on Sundays.
