Danny's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Taylor

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars for the food is because they are a little skimpy on the toppings, especially when you pay more for premium toppings and barely get any. The reason for less than 5 on the atmosphere is because they can NEVER hear me on the phone and I end up repeating myself 5 times, I don't have a problem with any other calls but every time with these guys. But the pizza is ALWAYS steaming hot, and ALWAYS earlier than they estimate! Best prices on better pizza than all of the chain places combined! The medium with 1 topping is only $.75 more than the hot and ready and it's the same size. Danny's offers sm, med,lg and x-lg fresh and actually hot, not luke warm and stale sitting in a warmer until the cheese hardens up.😝 They also do the flavor crust for free, which I saw not everyone else does, a chain place I saw was charging $2.99 for butter crust.... 🤨 really?! The food is terrible. Not only did I revolt the food to no degree but the food itself just did not look presentable. The service is absolutely non-existent. I want to eat not sit around for 30 minutes. They’re all over the place and that doesn’t say well for their reputation as a public restaurant. I don’t recommend going here if you’d like a nice dine out, or if you’re just plain hungry. I’d prefer any other place than this one. The place is not well taken care of either. It’s sanitation is awful! I want to eat in a clean area, not one filled with a musky smell and dirt! Honestly, how can anyone tolerate going to this place. First off, I want to say that this is a legitimate honest review from an out of towner who has no affiliation with anyone from Danny's Pizza. I ordered a large pizza with green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and extra sauce. The gentleman who greeted me as I entered the building was very polite and friendly. Service was promp, and the order was ready on time. The crust was good and reminded me of a French baguette type of bread in both taste and texture. The sauce was sweet and had a bit of tanginess to it. The cheese was plentiful and decent for a pizza. Vegi's were all fresh, and there was enough of them on the pizza to satisfy me.
