Eureka Fish & Seafood — Restaurant in Taylor

Called to place a carry out order before flying out of state for a wedding last October. It was my first and only time going to this place. We just wanted to pick something up since we'd be leaving in the morning and thought we'd give something new a try.

The guy that answered the phone hung up on me once, after telling me they didn't have something I wanted and I wasn't quick enough to ask for something else (I didn't know what else they had.. first time there and all) and the second time I got through, they didn't have three of the four items I wanted. Sure, okay, people don't always have everything, especially the last couple of years - but he was just kind of like "we don't got hush puppies" "we don't got red snapper" "we don't got Mac and cheese" and couldn't be bothered to tell me what they DID have when I asked. Two stars because the food tasted good but was not worth the hassle of ordering it from someone that clearly had not a lone customer service skill.

I'm a pretty easy going person that hardly complains, but this guy was rude and very unhelpful. I see the business name has changed. I hope if it's under new management that...

Horrible service, horrible food and horrible workers! I buy the same dish every week, and every week it goes up, it’s like the cashier is making some extra side cash off customers. They never have anything and if they did it’s stale cold and nasty. One time I came in to order bass, I was told they had none, the cashier and cook kept looking at each other making eye signals to say they don’t have it, they wanted to close and go smoke weed. The owner needs to step it up if you want to stay in business, I ordered some food today and I promise that this will be the last time spending my money there and I will make sure I spread the word to not go there since a lot of people always ask me what’s a good place to eat, definitely not this fish place ..... They're getting one star because, they we're friendly. I won't ever go back because, I asked for 2 large lobster tails, went to pay the bill ,asked how much it was after giving the man my card and he replied $22.90. (I thought this was a fair deal considering, I just left Kroger an they were $9.00 a piece) I was wrong my transaction was 45.60 total for two lobster tails,$23.00 difference seriously?
