I never take time to write reviews but I felt I needed to because I was so offended by the service I received, or should I say, did not receive. I went to this place with my husband who loves sushi, excited about the selection of vegan food on the menu. I was not seated for ten minutes, despite the fact that it was not that busy. After being seated, me and my husband were not given menus, water or even spoke to for 25 minutes. The servers were not incredibly busy, and even had time to stand and talk to other customers not being served or helped. They had menus in their hands as they walked around but completely ignored me and my husband. After 25 minutes of being ignored for absolutely no reason, my husband and I got up and left. I had to stop my husband from saying something because I felt it was better to just leave than to make a scene. I have never in my entire life been treated so terribly at a restaurant. They obviously do not care about pleasing new customers or making money. Avoid this place...
Read moreI’ve been a customer for over 15 years. I have mixed feelings about the place. Sue the manager and the chefs are absolutely amazing. They run the fort and keep things in shape. The food is fairy consistent 8/10. The staff, besides sue, I find to be extremely hard to deal with and there extremely unprofessional. There happy to get there job done mediocrely and go on there phones. On top of that, the prices are unreasonable. The kosher sushi competitors prices are much lower and quality is similar. Doesn’t make sense to me how there is such a difference in pricing. Overall though, I do give this restaurant a lot of business because of sue and the quality of the food. Yes the food is over priced, but you will get good food which is what I care most about, and the...
Read moreI have never written a restaurant review but was compelled to write this one. We ordered the Seaweed Salad and it was tasty however the main ingredient was mixed greens then followed by thin strips of cucumbers with a little seaweed. The listed menu item doesn’t reflect actually what was served. I told our waiter to tell the management /owner that the item should be listed as a Mixed Greens w/Cucumbers and Seaweed. We did end up paying for the item. As a main Entree, I ordered the Seared Tuna and it was beautiful plated and tasty with about six strips of tuna about 1/4” thick x 3” L x 1”W. The cost was $20 and this small portion should have been listed as an appetizer. Overall. the restaurant is nice and the food is good, however, I believe the menu needs...
