My husband and i had our first visit today. I must say upon entering any restaurant I first checkout the inside to see how clean it appears. If it doesn't look clean we don't stay. It if passes I look for handwashing/gloves and overall cleanliness of the kitchen area if visible. Well Kings Kitchen passed all the above.I mean the kitchen area actually shined. I was very impressed. The staff was so very friendly and willing to accommodate my picky eating habits. I had the Fried green tomatoes. Those were fabulous! I like a Hotdog on occasion but dont always want the weiner so they made me a sauce bun with the toppings. It was really good except for the bun being cold. I'm sure I could've requested it warmed or toasted had i thought to mention. But it's good to know they serve good quality Nathans weiners and not those cheap weiners used by most Hotdogs stands. The sauce was Custards brand which is really good. My husband had the chicken waffle. He liked it okay but wasn't overly thrilled with it. He said he would get something different next time. I do wish they had tofu. I think they could make a really good veggie/ tofu wrap. I believe they will be adding more items to the menu so I hope tofu will be added. I'm so glad we gave this little place a try. We will definitely be return customers and I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys eating foods which ingredients are of good quality and nice clean environment with smiling faces...
Read moreOrdered $12 cheeseburger, fries, $10 2 egg breakfast plate and two Pepsis. Total $31. Not horrible as the burger doesn’t come with fries.
Cheeseburger was good, had to remind the server about the fries and asked for silverware, the fries got there when the burger was about done. (My dining partner had to go up and get our utensils) Then the manager sends the server over to tell us the fries weren’t on the bill but “don’t worry about it”. So I guess the Pepsis were about $4 each. Soda fountain.Outrageous. Also the fries were ordered, not our fault it wasn’t on the bill. Never should have sent the server out…it was his mistake.
The breakfast: After taking our order and ringing us up, the manager came over and says that he forgot to asked how I wanted my eggs. I like the whites cooked and yolk a bit runny, so I said over medium. When the breakfast was served I had two completely fried eggs, toast severely undercooked and sausage that had been cooked so hard I couldn’t cut it with the plastic knife provided.
In all fairness the manager did come out 3/4 of the way through and asked how everything was, but I was afraid I couldn’t be civil at that point so I simply nodded.
If you want breakfast done correctly I...
Read moreGot lunch here and was truly impressed. Terrific service, incredibly clean, and the food was amazing.
Fried green tomatoes- extremely flavorful, very great appetizer.
Bone-in chicken wings - wings were very large, breading on the wings was perfect extremely satisfying to bite into, and the sauce was very plentiful and flavorful (my wife got the garlic Parmesan, it’s a wet sauce here). Highly recommend, among the best wings I’ve had.
Chicken shwarma - incredible flavors, every component stood out in its own pleasant manner. Highly recommend. Best shwarma I’ve had in the U.S.
Strawberry cheesecake crepe - vibrant flavors and perfectly made.
Service was spot on and perfect. Everything came out hot as soon is it was done. Minimal parking right next to the building. I suspect this could become an issue as more people try out the...
