Cinnabon — Restaurant in Tehachapi

The cinnamon rolls are as expected from this chain, but I will not purchase from this location again. I purchased two extra icing for my cinnamon rolls the last time I was in this location. I was charged $.69 for each icing container. When I got home and took the icing containers out of the bag to ice my cinnamon roll, there wasn’t even enough icing in one container to thinly cover a mini cinnamon roll let alone a full size cinnamon roll. I would say the dollop was maybe 1/4 teaspoon, if that. There was so little icing in the container. I could see the bottom of the container before scooping any of the icing out and I paid $.69 each for this. I recently purchased some Cinnabon‘s at another location and received two FREE icing containers that were completely filled with icing. It’s not necessarily about the money but the principle behind.it. If I am purchasing extra icing, I expect to get extra icing, not an empty container with a sliver of icing that doesn’t even cover the bottom of the small container it is in. I wish I had a photo of the icing purchased from the Tehachapi location to show the comparison but I am sure anybody that has purchased extra icing from this location knows exactly what I am talking about. The employees are friendly and a cinnamon rolls are fresh but that is the only reason this location gets two stars instead of one. Terrible service. This is the third time I’ve come here and waited over 10 minutes for anyone to even notice me. Today when I came in I had waited 13 minutes before talking to a flying j employee who was very rude about me asking for help at the Cinnabon and then proceeded to serve me without using gloves nor washing her hands first which was extremely off-putting considering she came from the register and we’re in a pandemic.
