Subway — Restaurant in Tehachapi

The food at Subway is fine, that's why I choose to eat it. The issue is the service! 1st off why must my meal go thru multiple HANDS? And since it's being slid down the line, it would be a great idea that the person handling WHAT IM GOING TO INGEST NOT USE THEIR HANDS THAT WILL TOUCH MY FOOD TO SCOOP, SWIPE OLD lettuce, tomatoes or whatever debris on the counter and then grab ingredients and put into my sandwich.....THATS NASTY and it's also a thing called CROSS CONTAMINATION!!!! I am at this point No Longer eating Subway from today on! And I don't want blame this particular location but this is the last straw and it happened here! For $15 I would like more than 8 leaves of spinach, 4 slices of bell pepper 6 slices of red onion and DEFINITELY MORE THAN 4 BLACK OLIVES!!!! And I was actually happy to see my guy, I think he's a Mgr, behind the counter, he's why I didn't go to McDonald's. But when he passed my meal off to the next guy this is how I got to this point. So since Subway wants to raise the price and be stingy with the ingredients then I will take my $$$$ elsewhere. I will have to do it myself, Thanks Subway for teaching me this lesson. So now I'll save time by not patronizing your establishments and spending money on skimpy sandwiches. I have over half a million views, so for those who may see this, you judge, are you having a similar experience or maybe the recent experience I'm having at different Subways is just me.....maybe Subway just has something against me? In multiple cities and states? I'd find that extremely hard to believe! No I think Subway is overcharging and short changing us customers. Period. Never Eating at Subway Sandwich Shops...

We stopped in Tehachapi to get gas and some sandwiches from Subway on our way home from camping on the coast about a week ago, and ended up leaving our kids stainless steel water bottles on one of the tables there. I called within 20 minutes of realizing we had forgotten them and spoke with Crystal, the manager on duty. She said she would mail them to us, which was more than I had expected. We didn’t want to have to turn around and go back, as we were pulling a trailer and it wouldn’t be that easy. So to have her offer to mail them to us was a nice surprise. She was very pleasant and helpful, as were all the girls working. Not to mention, the sandwiches were tasty as well! We most certainly will be stopping here again, as my kids love...

This was hands down the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. The simple request to prepare one and a half sandwiches turned out to be very difficult to fulfill, even though I was assured before ordering that they had vegan options. The staff had absolutely no clue which ingredients contained animal products, so it took 3 of them to piece together our meal. When the unbelievably slow, unmotivated and unfortunately also very clueless crew finally managed to finish our order, the result was a couple of dry and flavorless sandwiches. I’d rather close all my businesses before leaving it in the hands of these people. Should have bought more fries at McDonalds. Thanks...
