I'll start my review with the fact that disabled parking is pathetic. The main parking lot for the restaurant has zero disabled parking spots. The few they have are far, far away from the entrance to the restaurant. There are 4 parking spots directly adjacent to the entrance, which could have easily been designated for disabled. I expected to see major changes to the interior of the restaurant, being they took months to do what they called renovations. The only change I noticed was the previous restaurant reception area and gifts moved to a small podium at the right of entering. Where the original reception area was is now a seating area. I ordered the Ossobuco, which came with polenta. The polenta was COLD, and the Ossobuco was warm at best, chewy. I asked to replace the polenta with a hot order. after 18 minutes of waiting it finally arrived warm. How people have given 5 stars is beyond my...
Read moreWe met Chef Taylor at the So Cal Chef Open. Her food was fabulous and her team so upbeat and friendly we just had to try her restaurant. They did not disappoint!! We sat at the bar. The server- Olivia, was fantastic! She knew the menu and the wines very well and gave us great suggestions for pairing. We started withe the 2 different caviar tastings!! DIVINE!!! A crisp chip topped with dill creme fraiche and caviar... OHHHH crisp creamy and a perfect vessel for the delicious caviar!!
We followed that with the lobster tails. They were perfectly cooked. The drawn butter seemed to be infused with lobster. So succulent and just pure lobster love on my plate!
We stopped by the tasting room and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of wines... so much that we joined the wine club. We will be back to try more yummy items...

The live music was not overwhelming and set the mood for wine and conversation while drowning out the festivities of larger parties. The Filet was wonderful, I had order envy as I ordered the Beef Wellington. As a lover of Wellington I have particular requirements and like the duxelles to be a little more substantial. Luckily the Filet within was perfect. If you’re leaning towards the Wellington, I recommend just getting the Filet. We finished with the cobbler which could’ve used a crust or oatmeal base, but the fruit was good. I’d probably go with the tiramisu next time. The service was good even though it was very busy. The bussers and wait staff were attentive and welcoming. Overall a great date night for less than $300 with a bottle of wine and...
