The villas are spacious! During July there is a 3 night minimum so we worked from the hotel 2 of the 4 days we stayed. The wifi can be a little unstable so do not try hosting a webinar from your room but you can join a zoom meeting and get your work done. The registration lobby has the strongest wifi amd was recommended so you are welcome to work there if you need to. The beds are pretty firm and the blankets are thin but the temperature control in the room is easy to navigate. The t.v. has google chromecast and it's a little spotty but we were able to get it connected with help from the staff.

The bathrooms are lovely. A jet soaker tub in the bathroom was definitely the center of excitement. I personally loved the double showerhead in the seperate standing shower. We stayed here to make it easier to arrive to a hot air balloon excursion that lifts off from their parking lot.

Speaking of parking, the villas provide one designated parking spot only. If your party has more than one car you can park by the registration building and there was plenty of parking. In addition, if you need to park your car there and aren't a fan of a short walk to the villas you can go to registration and ask for a staff member to take you to your villa in a golf cart. That was incredibly helpful.

The spa was a wonderful experience. The services provided to my sister (for her birthday) was a facial and a standard massage. You need to book services in advance. I repeat, YOU NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE. If for the sole reason of securing n appointment at the very least! I do think hotel guests should have appointments available to them, maybe even a couple email reminders stating very clearly to book spa services in advance would be helpful. I was lucky to get my sister her 2 services because they book up and the spa receptionist is happy to tell you so.

We visited the restaurant for lunch on Monday, it was a little expensive but the portions were generous. The tasting went well and when you join the wine club it makes it very affordable!

Overall, I highly recommend the stay as well as the spa and the tasting. The restaurant... I prefer a lunch at Wilson Creek where I can get a wine slushie. It's the perfect...

The property is magnificent! I came to San Diego for business and decided to go for a hot air balloon adventure (recommended) and wine tasting at Temecula, the adventure company offered me free pick up from any local hotel, so to make my experience pleasant and convenient, I looked on the internet for a local hotel to stay and found this resort to be #1. This place is magical! The pictures don't do justice to the property. The gardens have beautiful flowers, you can smell delicious aroma of jasmine and rosemary all around the walk path, the birds singing all day, spectacular views of the vines from anywhere. Convenient location, with a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, spa and wine, just an hour away from San Diego airport. The loby feels cozy, fresh coffee available every morning and the warmth of the fireplace and the backgorund music from the 40's & 50's keep you wondering around. The rooms are spacious and clean, double sink, separate toilet room, fireplace and small refrigerator. The views are available from any angle, I find the regular rooms more private than the villas. It's a very romatic place, perfect for weddings. Going...

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in my stay this time around. I was expecting a better experience like I had the first time. This occasion I stayed in the hotel section, not the bungalows. Perhaps that was my mistake. The room was clean but the iron did not work. The black out curtain did not close all the way. The mini refrigerator almost fell completely out of the cabinet and the next morning it took approximately 15 to 20 min just to get lukewarm. Never hot and would suddenly get cold from time to time. As for the restaurant. Again disappointment is the word for this stay. Asked for a prime rib, medium. They brought me a completely raw cut of meat. I asked if they could cook it a bit more. Within 2 min a plate with an obviously different steak appeared. They had given me someone else's food. That being said.. The (expensive) prime rib was not flavorful at all. Actually had no real taste. Had to use a ton of salt and pepper just to give it some kind of taste. The desserts on the other hand were fantastic! Yum! I will give them another chance just because my first stay (in the bungalows) was exceptional. How this...

I almost didn’t want to rate because I want this to be a secret place, but guess the cat is out of the bag. Immaculate place and service. Worth every penny. I’m usually very picky about bedbugs and such, not this place. Cleanliness is high priority here. I also like how the hallways are wide and rooms are big. I stayed with my parents at the winemaker suite. The pool, jacuzzi as clean as it can get. Room service and food off the chart. I recommend the Kobe burger. And for breakfast the salmon was crazy good. I can see myself here for a week just enjoying life and relaxing…almost forgot, The free bottle of wine they gave us was from 2016. I am not an expert but I did grow up in Europe and had a lot of different wines. This one was the best one I ever tasted. I hope not a lot of people read this review because I hope this place doesn’t get overcrowded. Big compliments to the crew from receptionists, to management, to gardeners. What a place!!!
