I visit this location all the time. A few things need to be acknowledged. The people who are actually working here do a good enough Job. The food is fresh and for the most part the inside of the establishment is kept clean. The speed of service is a real issue here and has been for a while. The fastest drive thru order I’ve ever had was handed to me at the second window and it was only a 2 minute wait- there were plenty of people staffed. But it seems since the minimum wage hike, just like anywhere else- labor has become an issue and hours are being cut and the amount of allowance on schedule is minimal. This is severely affecting the speed of service because these people are at least working on making the food fresh. Today I went through and used the app to attain one of my deals which was a 4 pc happy meal with extra fries and a double quarter pounder with cheese meal. Instead of telling me he couldn’t do it, the teller told me he would just ad the additional components on and made it happen. They got the order correct, and the woman who came out with my order was very friendly and even smiled with delivery of the order. The order however was a 14 minute wait time and it was myself and 3 others waiting. This is how I know they are understaffed. I taste tested everything in the parking lot and it was all fresh. I have no issues with the quality of the food here nor do I have issues with the customer service and friendliness of the staff. I think there needs to be a better scheduling. Obviously people who don’t work in service will never understand the demand issues when it comes to running a shop with forced minimal labor. Grocery stores are literally under the same pressure. And if you come here and expect better because you went elsewhere and it was better- then you should probably stick to the place you are going to because no one is forcing you to order from a place to have your food cooked for you. As a service person in customer service and retail for 21 years I am reviewing this shop based on the quality, customer service, cleanliness. I’ll be returning here- but if the wait times don’t get better, I’ll eventually reach out to corporate and voice a complaint because these people need more help...
Read moreJust went through the drive-through this morning and it took 20 minutes. But the food was s much muchbigger problem They didn't have both windows open and of course the line didn't seem long but they couldn't handle the 6 cars that they had. But that wasn't what was so bad. I got two of the new chicken biscuits for $3 and the biscuits were absolutely awful, at least day old if not longer and the chicken was cold, dried out and over fried. I have seriously had much better frozen microwaved biscuits.
The chicken was so dried out, that is was impossible to bite clean through it... and I don't like to waste food but it was impossible to eat, it was worse than any food I think I've ever purchased at any McDonald's anywhere in the world.
Seriously really really bad quality control, that product should never have been allowed to go into a wrapper and not only did they get me one, but I got 2 of them and both of them ended up in the trash, absolutely the worst. Total waste of my money and time waiting to get it...
This shows that either the employees do not care about the food they are serving their customers, or management is trying to keep their food Costs so low that they are serving old food instead of throwing it out. Or maybe it's a combination of both.
And I am sure that my chicken biscuits weren't the only ones that were old, cardboard nasty awful...i bet this morning there was a bunch of other people there who got the same awful nasty food quality this morning from this restaurant...
This McDonald's location is right around the corner from where I currently live, so it is convenient, but there are other McDonalds close by which I will patronize in the future, McDonalds that I know that care more about their customer's experience and have more pride about what the quality of their food is that they put into a bag with their name and...
Read moreI almost never post comments for places like McDonald's because it is foolish in this day and age to realistically expect good food or service from such a place. Until now, i would only come here occassionally for a quick breakfast on the run, but they have even alienated me from that at this point.
Anyways, this place has become incrediably bad as of late. The reasons are the same as others have stated. Very disorganized, indifferent and rude staff (the managers are worse than line staff). On my last visit, the staff was messing around behind the counter giggling like 8 year olds rather than working, and actually joking about bodily functions. I think people should have fun, but the antics I have witnessed are going too far. The place is often dirty and you have reach behind the counter into a tupperwear container to find a napkin. I have never seen this before and find it a bit hokey for a chain. Maybe they have to hide these from the increasing number of transients here? Speaking of transients, they are often camped out in the booths doing all sorts of freightening things. The staff pays no mind to them and the health and safety hazard they pose to customers (many are unstable). I've also seen some sitting there coughing all over the place (seen it more than once). Sadly, this has become commonplace here in Temecula.
The final straw for me with this store was having to wait 20 minutes for 2 egg McMuffins one morning. The manager gave me an attitude and just refunded my money when I nicely asked what the hold up was...no apologies. Whichever corporation owns this particular franchise should take note and rethink your hiring practices before more people vote with...
