Horrible experience, horrible service, horrible pizza. We had never been to this place, so we didn't know it was a sit-down restaurant. When you walk in, you walk directly to what looks like a place to order your food and then go find a table. No one was there to greet us, so we grabbed a paper to go menu sitting on the counter and started seeing what we might want. When someone finally showed up, she didn't say hi, she didn't ask us if it was for here or to go, didn't ask how many were in our party, nothing. So that kind of solidified it in my mind that it was a fast-casual type place. We ordered, she gave us a cup and asked for a name for the order. We grabbed our drink at the soda machine and found a table. While we're sitting there, a server walks up and asks us if we know what we want. We apologize and tell her we already ordered at the counter and were just waiting for the food. She awkwardly says ok and walks away. My wife and I were so confused. I got up and found the waitress and apologized to her and said that it was our first time there so we didn't know how to order. I asked if it was still ok to sit at the table and she said yes. I apologized again and went back to the table. After about 10 minutes we decided to order a pitcher of beer. We tried getting her attention multiple times, but she just kept talking with people at another table. Not taking their order, just talking to them. When she finally came our way, my wife made eye contact with her and said excuse me to let her know she wanted to talk to her, and she told my wife to hold on while she turned to the table next to us to see if everything was ok. After that she turned to our table and we asked for a pitcher. She said it would be cheaper to get individual pints, so we just got 2 pints. After she comes back with the beer we had another 10-15 minute wait until the pizza arrived. I was really hoping for a cold beer with my hot pizza, but ended up with warm beer and cold pizza. It was like I was back in college waking up from a night of drinking and eating leftover pizza and drinking beer remnants. We had 1 slice each, and couldn't eat anymore because it was that unappetizing. It would be a decent pizza if it were hot. Definitely not worth the price you pay, but decent. It took forever for her to come back because she was talking to every table but ours. When she did, she saw the uneaten pizza and just grabbed it and started walking away while saying, "Did you want this boxed up?". Didn't ask if we liked it or what was wrong with it, just snatched it and started walking away. I was facing the opposite direction that she was going, so she was out of my line of sight when I asked for the check and I didn't know if she heard me. I got her attention and she came back in a huff and had this look on her face that made me feel so put off. I repeated that I just wanted to get the check and she said, "Yeah, I know". She turned and walked away without giving me any chance to continue speaking. Since she didn't want to wait there to hear what I had to say, I said loud enough for her and the tables around us to hear, "Sorry to put you out!" She dropped off the check saying she would be our cashier. No "thanks for coming in" or "have a good night". We paid cash so we wouldn't have to interact with her again. We walked right past her as we left and still no thank you or goodnight. Nichole J is an awful waitress who made us feel like we were unwelcome, unappreciated and annoying. Sorry for being such a-holes and choosing your restaurant to eat dinner. We hear you loud and clear, Rosati's. You don't want us coming back,...
Read moreI have been going to Rosatis in Temecula ever since it has opened. Usually I would get takeout for the home today. I had a long day at work and felt like eating some good Chicago food. The food is very good. And one of a kind it is authentic Chicago, Italian food. I order my food today and due to the noise because of the game so I have to step outside very quickly to take a phone call the same waitress that took my order at the table that I was sitting decided to sit another customer there and take the order and move my seat somewhere else. The problem with your restaurant is your waitresses that don’t have respect for the customer well knowing that they took another customers order if you have to use the restroom or something or step out for a moment, the waitres didn’t respect that. I was really disturbed at this and I brought it up to corporate and the management and this restaurant had the dignity to make things right and to discuss the matter with me. I really like this restaurant and really recommend that has a good Chicago taste to it I appreciate the fact that me being just a regular customer the company went out of their way to speak with me on the matter and made things right I understand sometimes people make mistakes. And I’m not the type that I like to complain about places or be picky . And the fact that the company went out of its way a lot of companies these days don’t do that so I have a recommend this restaurant they really care about...
Read moreI really want to give this a 3.5 not 4 stars, but half stars are not an option. Ordered a BBQ Chicken thin crust pizza, it was delicious! Ordered an Italian beef with mozzarella & requested it to be dipped, but instead got a side of dip. Ordered a side of cheese sauce for the fries, but it was the least favorite item in our meal. The cheese seemed to be microwaved. The fries were good so was the beef. We never got refills on our drinks, so I advice ordering a water with your soda/beer.
Edit: I know Rosati’s reply was to bring up the issues while at the restaurant. However, the server only checked up on us once and we had to walk up to the server to get our check, and there were only two other clients in the restaurant that night. So maybe we would bring up issues, if the server came to check on us. The service wasn’t great (maybe that particular server didn’t want to be at work that day). However, we made the best of it even if the service was sub par because we love Rosati’s back home in Chicago, and we were just trying to heal our homesickness. Pizza was great though (I guess the pizza person loves their work)! PS if you’re ever in Chicago, Rosati’s is great and their beefs...
