UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER I can’t tell you how many times I’ve visited since my review a year ago when I joined the wine club! Every visit has been worth the drive. Michael Hall is usually my wine expert, but the few times he wasn’t there we had someone nice too. He is always super knowledgeable about all wines, very personable with everyone around see him assisting, super patient with questions, and so much fun to chat with between pours.😊😊😊
This review is because we attended the kick off of the summer concert series! We had a large group and Michael, once again was an absolute joy!! The setup for these concerts was so cool! Tables on the lawn with umbrellas, open grass area near the stage, vendors setup around the perimeter, and live music before the concert even started! They thought of everything. They only had one food truck so options were limited, but I think they were expecting two more.
The Summer Concert Series is a great way to spend your weekend so check it out if you can! I LOVE coming here even on a random weekday, but my favorite times are when they have great live music.
This is always my favorite winery in the valley! This trip was no different, except I finally decided to join their wine club. Michael in the lounge was so nice! They had live music and the wines were wonderful. My favorite new find was the Malbec! The grounds are beautiful and they have multiple options for seating and tastings. I’m looking forward to returning very soon to experience some of the member only perks! If you’re visiting the area this is by far one of the BEST to experience dry sparkling and bold reds with lots of blends too!! I forgot...
Read more⭐ 3/5 – Decent Wine, but Pressure to Buy and No Food
This winery has decent wine, but it’s not what it used to be. The selection is fine, but it feels more like a sales-driven experience rather than one focused on relaxation.
🍷 The Wine: 3/5
The wine is good but underwhelming compared to other local options. It used to be better, and while it’s still drinkable, it doesn’t have the same depth or excitement it once did.
🍽️ The Food: N/A
There’s no food available, but food trucks sometimes show up on weekends, which adds a bit of variety for those wanting to snack while sipping.
🛎️ The Service: 3.5/5
The service is fast and efficient, but there’s a noticeable pressure to buy bottles each time you visit. This can be a bit overwhelming if you’re just trying to relax and enjoy the tasting without being pushed to make a purchase.
🏡 The Atmosphere: 3/5
The setting is fine, but it feels a bit sales-driven rather than relaxed. It’s good for a quick stop or a group visit, but it’s not the ideal spot for a cozy or intimate wine experience.
💰 The Verdict: Good Wine, but Sales Pressure and No Food
✅ Decent wine selection ✅ Food trucks on weekends ✅ Efficient service ❌ Constant pressure to buy bottles ❌ No food options ❌ Lacks a relaxed, cozy vibe
Would I come back? Maybe, but I would prefer a winery that focuses more on the experience and less on...
Read moreWent for wine tasting on a Thursday afternoon to take advantage of the 2 for 1 tasting coupon and taco truck. We also appreciated the fact that dogs are welcome. Children are also welcome and there were quite a few families with young children. I have grown children of my own and understand as a parent how children can sometimes misbehave but to put it politely, the dogs who were there were more well-behaved. I think the children present at the time were too young to enjoy themselves as there is really nothing to do for a toddler to 5 year old so understandably they would get antsy and whiny and cry.
Food and wine were good but service lacked. After paying for our tasting we were told to choose a table outside and a server would come to us. After 15 minutes I finally had to get up and go to the bar to ask if I misheard the cashier inside. The woman was so apologetic and made sure someone came out right away. Tastings were fine, but after the 5th glass out of 6 our server forgot about us and when she returned she admitted she forgot. When she returned with our 6th and last pour I made sure to tell her I wanted to order bottles to go and that we would order one more glass of wine. We waited 30 minutes and when she didn’t return we finally got up and left. This was only our second trip to Temecula but definitely will not be returning to...
