Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

Ordered online, never got a confirmation. I called and the person who answered said they got my order without asking me any information about it. I went to pick it up and waited 15 minutes. The 2 people at the counter seemed very lost and disorganized with the 3 people waiting ahead of me. One of them asked if I ordered a small pizza with chicken and bacon and I said no, I had a large with mushrooms and peppers. He said ok that's almost ready. A few minutes later he asked me what I ordered and walked away before I could answer. Then I heard him speaking to his coworker saying he didn't know where anything was and there was a lady waiting in the front (I assume he meant me as I was the only one left) and he didn't know where her stuff was. I asked if he actually had my order. He replied he had a lot of orders going and he couldn't just pull mine ahead. I told him I didn't think he even knew what my order was since he asked and then walked away. No response. I left the store and will not be returning. I'm glad I hadn't paid in advance. If I could give zero...

I have been a customer for awhile and have never had unpleasant experience...until today! I don't know if the manager (so he says) was having a bad day or what. He's bald medium built and has accent. But he was very rude! When I showed him the flyer he handed me and told him what I would like to order. He wouldn't honor a coupon and then told mfe it was a year old (date clearly states it wasnt and is valid) I ended up just paying full price and once I paid and asked to speak to a manager the guy came behind counter and aggressively came to my face yelling calling me liars and putting me down in english and also his native language. I couldn't believe it and was so scared. And asked him how dare u do this to a woman? He laughed and continued. I Precorded him and have video I wilk upload to youtube. He also is very racist! And then I get home pizza is cold and salad isn't fresh! I cant believe ppl and especially a man would treat me that way. Mind u im only 5"1...Plz dont patronize this racist place. Im so sad and...

In the middle of a pandemic with a county wide mask mandate (they are required!), not a single employee was wearing a mask. They weren't even bothering to pretend they were wearing them. One of the employees, I guess in an attempt to be friendly, also came very close to me and was asking questions about my order. I have family that are immunocompromised that I care for and need to maintain my distance. I also ordered cheese bread with pizza sauce on the side. They placed the sauce cup on top of the cheese bread upside down which then leaked all over the cheese bread. This was for my fiancé to eat and he cannot eat the sauce (the sauce was for me) so this was very disappointing for him. The pizza itself was good but all around, I will not be visiting this...
