Fayrouz and Café — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

I recently visited Fayrouz, an amazing hookah lounge, and it was an incredible experience! The lounge had a really cool and relaxing atmosphere, with comfortable seating and great lighting. But what really made the experience so great was the amazing service we received from our server, Hussain.

From the moment we walked in, Hussain made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He greeted us with a smile and was incredibly attentive throughout the night. He made great recommendations for which hookah flavors to try, and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. His energy was so positive and infectious, and he really went above and beyond to make our visit special.

The hookah itself was also top-notch. The flavors were so rich and flavorful, and the smoke was smooth and satisfying. It was clear that the staff at Fayrooz really knows what they're doing when it comes to hookah.

We had been loyal, paying customers at this hookah cafe for five days straight. One night, we briefly stepped out to grab ice cream next door, letting the staff know we’d be back. To be courteous, we even paid ahead of time. When we returned, our hookah was gone—not a big deal. We just wanted to sit and relax before they closed.

However, the waiter came over and told us that the owner said we had to order something or leave. Moments later, the owner himself approached us with an unnecessarily rude attitude, lecturing us about “running a business” as if we were freeloaders. The way he spoke to us was completely disrespectful, as if we were just loitering and had never spent a dime there.

If this is how they treat loyal, paying customers, I can only imagine how they treat new ones. There are plenty of other hookah lounges around—save your money and go somewhere that actually values...

Had a great time here. Both manager and other patrons were a pleasure to speak to. Everything is clean and there are air fresheners and air filters everywhere to keep the smells down.

Hookah was great and we shared one for over 2 hours. It probably would have lasted longer, but we were done for the day.

I also purchased a pot of green tea that was very good.

If you have not tried any of the smoothies here, I also highly recommend the mango smoothie. It was delicious. Probably the best smoothie I've had in a long time.

Between the atmosphere, the reasonable prices, and the quality of things we received, it will definitely be a place to frequent.
