If i could give this place a -1 rating i would. I went to Tally Ho's Bar and Grill on Saturday August 18, 2018. The bartender (tall, white, female) was extremely rude to customers and had the audacity to even get upset when the customers would not tip. Although I did tip her, she was also rude to me and very selective as to who she would serve. Nonetheless, i tried to continue on with my time at Tally Ho's and it just continued to get worse with her. A friend of mine that was there with me ordered Shrimp and fries. When we asked the bartender if she could check to see if the shrimp was ready (42 minutes after ordering), she again was extremely rude. When my friend got her order, it was cold. It was if it had sat for over an hour cold. When she asked for a refund for the food because it was cold, the bartender stated: " i can't do anything about that," and walked off. We asked a member of the security team for a manager. A bearded black male that was sitting on his phone next to where the liquor is kept came over. Boy was he UNPROFESSIONAL. He used lots of profanity and said ,"get out of my face, I told you she will give you a refund." He continued to talk aggressively to my friend, so her male friend stepped in between the two of them and said: " hey man, you don't have to talk to her like that, she is not talking to you crazy," As soon as he finished saying crazy, this "manager/security" personnel hits my friend in the face and all of security came over and grabbed him. The "manager/security" continued to hit him, while he was down nonetheless, over and over again and there was blood everywhere. I was so pissed, i left. While outside, the same "manager/security" came outside and started yelling profanities at myself and my friend while we were talking to another member of security, If this is who you have managing your establishment, you ought to be ashamed. This man is so unprofessional and incites physical aggression as if he has a chip on his shoulder and just wanted to fight that day. This is not the first time I've seen an incident like this, just the first time I happened to be apart of it and honestly it is sickening. You charge at the door to get less than poor service and attitudes because your staff had a bad day. We as consumers did not choose this line of work for your staff, so their issues should not fall on us at all. I see now why a lot of people have decided not to patron your establishment. About 30 people left Saturday night after this incident all saying that this is the worse. Sports bars are supposed to be places where people can go and have a good time, catch up on the latest sports news, play pool, have a few drinks, and be able to leave without being beat up. The police should have been called, but of course when that was mentioned, the security staff begs you not to and asks you to leave. This...
Read moreI like Tally-ho. It's a nice spot to drink, listen to music and play pool. I only come here during daytime hours and don't stay pass 10pm. With that being said I have to give them a one star review solely based on the condition of the pool tables. The pool tables are stained with dark spots and always dirty with ashes and weed residual. These pool tables been looking like this for nearly a year. It does not cost alot to clean or have it reupholster or refelted. This is unacceptable that customers have to play pool on these filthy disgusting pool table. Treat your paying customers better. Also if you want to prevent your pool table from becoming dirty again use a pool table cover and tell your customers no drinks on the pool table. These are basic common business management rules. I play pool at other places that have these rules and guess what their pool table are not filthy dirty. Maybe if your business start setting rules your establishment will remain clean. So I have to give you 1 star because these pool tables have been like this for nearly a year. If you need help finding someone to redo pool table cloth start with googling Reupholster a pool table! I attached photos of the pool tables that's in your establishment that a filthy dirty so you know, even...
Read moreI have to say I’ve gone to Tallys a lot until my daughter and I were completely tormented by a guy that I’ve seen walk around and fix things. I called before bringing my 13 year old daughter to make sure that during the day it was kid friendly and I was told it was fine. My daughter and I entered in and headed to the restroom before sitting down and ordering. My daughter asked me to provide her a personal Item and as I went into the bathroom this guy yelled at me not to enter while my 13 year old was in there. I tried to explain to him this is my daughter and he yelled over me and completely humiliated me. I decided to just leave and not have lunch there and as I walked out, he followed and degraded me in front of my 13 year old daughter. We continued to just walk away and he continued to torment me. I called later and spoke with the bartender and she apologized and assured me it is a kid friendly eating spot during the day and this guy was the owners brother. I’m disgusted with the way this guy treated me and In front of my daughter. I will not be going back there anymore and wouldn’t recommend anyone bringing they’re children there...
