Kabob King — Restaurant in Florida

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. By far, THE WORST customer service experience I’ve faced.

Online order placed 1 hour in advance, food still cooking 30 minutes after scheduled picked. No one present anywhere in the restaurant for 10 minutes or so. I witnessed 7 different DoorDash/UberEat drivers drop orders due to orders not being ready. The “cook” kept saying 5 and 10 minutes for orders no where near done. All while laughing. 4 different drivers tried to pick up one order, they were told it was picked up already yet it was not finished. We were told things were behind due to low flame on the grill then told by another person that it was due to a catering order.

Upon walking in, the place is probably due for a health inspection. Doesn’t look clean at all. Food on tables that look like it’s from the night before. No gloves being used - one worker going from cashier to grill.

I asked to cancel my order. I was told by one girl that she doesn’t know how to. The manager/owner proceeds to tell me he’ll give me a free drink or 20% off the next meal. I just took the food and left since I will dispute with bank. Food was cold even after waiting 40+ mins after scheduled pickup. Mashed potatoes seem to come straight from the fridge. Waste of money, and I threw it all out.

I ordered Uber eats and boy oh boy was the food terrible. I grew up eating Middle Eastern food and it’s my families favourite cuisine, so we get around a lot. I am sorry to say that this was probably the worst food we’ve had yet in Tampa. I ordered the 2 skewer meat plate (kufta and chicken) with 2 sides (Tabbouleh and Baba Ghanoush) and also ordered a side of kubbeh with garlic sauce. The skewer meat plates came with falafel- one plate had one falafel and the other had 2!! The falafel were over fried and unpleasant. Anyways, garlic sauce tasted like mayonnaise, kofta was not edible, it was super chewy and the tabbouleh was at least 2 days old and was horrible (it was swimming in tomato sauce and barely had any parsley and burgul - almost like I was getting the last scoop in the bowl before closing time!) Just terrible. The chicken was alright but nothing wow about it. I guess they didn’t have kibbeh, so instead of refunding me for what I ordered they sent me some cold and under cooked meat pies. Really very disappointed....

I ordered through door dash/grubhub...so disappointed. No where on the menu did it give you an option to cook the food not spicy. I wasn't warned about how spicy the food would be. My bf's order was so disgustingly spicy, he didn't even it it. One taste of the sauce on the meat and we threw the whole dish out before he can even take a bite. I thought that mine would be less spicy bc i had a crema sauce on it and I couldn't eat it; not even after adding white rice and sugar to the dish. I ordered babaganoush with bread, none of it came. It was a total waste of $50 for food that went straight into the trash. Their menu and food descriptions are not accurate. Literally could have given someone an allergic reaction to how spicy food is. Never again will I order from this place!
