Baker Donuts — Restaurant in Temple

I was raised on the "K.K", if you can understand what I mean. My career has afforded me the opportunity to taste a variety of doughnuts. When talking about the Original Glazed Doughnut, this shop has won me over. I ordered a dozen glazed. My son and I ate on them for two, almost three, days... because we could. They were still as fresh as the day I purchased them. They've managed to balance the glaze-to-dough ratio so that it's not super sweet.. yet not a doughball with a smidget of glaze. It's juuuuust right. There's another company here that you won't find everywhere "S". That seems to be the "go-to" for everyone but I guarantee you that if you try these guys, you would think twice about the others. The doughnuts are super moist! It's weird how your brain tries to figure out what you are eating because it's just that soft and good. I'm a warm doughnut eater and these doughnuts are microwave friendly guys. Go try these and let me know...

This place is conveniently located on the corner of a little shopping center. It has a quick drive thru, a lobby, and a nice little sitting area outside of the building. I walked in and I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who worked there with a large smile. You can see the smile through his mask it was so big. He was very attentive and friendly.

I ordered a cup of coffee, sausage and cheese kolache, and a couple of old fashioned glazed donuts. The coffee was delicious and fresh. They serve community coffee which is awesome as I am a fan of that Louisiana coffee company. The kolache breading was very soft and savory. They even put a nice butter glaze over the kolache which gives it a nice flavor. The donut was sweet and perfect touch with my coffee.

I used the restroom before I left and I'll add that the restroom was clean and tidy. This is a plus as I like to wash my hands before consuming the baked goods.

My husband and I went here and we love it. The only thing that I'm not happy about is that Asian girl doesn't seem to understand the consequences of heating the styrofoam box with your sandwich. I made her aware that its not good for your health and she did it anyway grrr. Its either she does not seem to care or UNDERSTAND what I'm saying.

Edit 4/2/22 almost 11am...we walked in and were ready to order huge orders for 300 people. Well these two girls in the front all they do is chat. The 1 in pink by the register say to let her know if we're ready to order, as I'm about to say something she started talking to her other employee girl by the drive thru window and just basically ignoring us... then by the time she asked us again I've already changed my mind. WE ARE NEVER GOING TO WASTE OUR MONEY HERE. Why hire people who just want...
