Daiquiri Express — Restaurant in Temple

I've never actually been inside the establishment, I've only been through the drive-through and ordered the alcoholic beverages. Generally speaking, when going to a place like this, you are served weak beverages that you could practically gulp down and still not feel a thing.

My wife and I ordered large alcoholic drinks, and I even paid extra for them to add an extra shot of vodka just to be certain I'd "feel" it. My drink was incredibly sweet, so sweet that it was difficult to enjoy. However, knowing what I'd spent, I forced it down in less than an hour, and neither me nor my wife felt even the slightest effects of the alcohol. Once completed, I felt as though both her and I just spent over $30 on two badly made snow cones. Now having said all that, I've been here 4 times and 2 of those times the experience was decent, not great, but decent, and the other 2 were awful. Quality control could use some work.

There isn't a lot of options when it comes to places like this in Temple Texas, so we can't exactly be very choosy, but there are places in Killeen that are much better, Tipsy Gator for example, so I think we may just make the drive just to get our money's worth.

It's a shame these guys don't do better, I love Temple and the wife and I love grabbing drinks like this so for this to be so sub par is a real...

Service was friendly. Daiquiris tasted like there was absolutely no alcohol in them. Wasted $55 on 5 Twisty Cups. We had Manic, Swamp Monster and Superman. Not worth it! Save your money or drive a little...

I love this place. The service was great, food was great and the atmosphere was laid back...
