Bad customer service
I wish I could give them zero stars. I made an order through the app to order 2 of the half price shakes and it did not update my location and sent the order to somewhere 3 hours away from me. I as unable to cancel the order and the charge had already been charged to my cc. So I pressed the button and the person I spoke to said âyou need to call the app peopleâ. He did not have a phone number and didnât know how to help. So I called the store where my order was sent and they actually helped me and gave me the phone number to call. So I called the number and the lady said the order was cancelled and refunded. I have yet to see the order cancelled and refunded. Anyway, I pressed the button again cause I was done with the app and ordered my 2 shakes after 7 and he charged me full price and so I asked him why and he said itâs only on the app. That was the final straw and so I took my money and went to Dairy Queen cause they should not make offers only for people who have the app. Everybody should be able to get the half price shakes whether theyâre on the app or not. I was not happy with my experience. I will not be going back...
   Read moreWell I stopped by yesterday I didnât read reviews. I pulled in stall 26 pushed the button and waited 7 minutes and no one took my order. So I said let me try another stall maybe this one isnât working. So I moved to stall 16 and nothing I waited another 7 minutes. I did see one girl taking out two orders in the time I was there. I did see one of the employees walking up to a custom car and playing with a customer dog. He walked away then returned and continued to put his hands in the window of the passenger side to pet and scratch the dog. So while I waited at stall 16 I said let me read the reviews and yes they were right. Management is not doing its job to have enough employees to take orders. Itâs really disappointing since the town I live in sonic was one of my favorite places it did get closed down. So to see customer service not that great. Someone needs to come out and observe and see what needs to be fixed. Maybe do more then observe lend a hand so customers donât drive away and sonic loses money. Customer service may respond to my review and say oh we are sorry for your experience but, if you are under staffed then the problem isnât...
   Read moreIt seems like itâs run by teenagers whoâre really unhappy about working at Sonic. Ordering anything from drinks only to food to dessert takes 30-45 minutes and it will be wrong when you get it. Itâs best to prepare for being there for a hour and a half as theyâll have to replace your food. If you get concerned after waiting 45 minutes with no indication your order will be on its way, pushing the red button will do next to nothing. For instance, when I hit that button again to ask about where my order it, there was no response or acknowledgement of my question, the light just stopped glowing. Finally 10 minutes after that my food showed up. It was wrong, but I wasnât about to spend anymore time there. Shame as this Sonic is so close, but weâll be going to a different one from now on. We gave them 3 tries, and each time we came away frustrated with wrong, cold food. As the saying goes, youâre out!
Edited to add that weâve already called the number provided and that honestly wasnât much better. They took my complaint and told me to have a good day. Honestly, that number was more like an answering service. Felt...
