We ordered 3 cheeseburger combos and specifically requested no condiments in the app. Well low and behold when we opened up the burgers they were pouring mayonnaise. The beef was very dark in colour and was not fresh and obviously was reheated in a microwave or was laid out underneath a heat lamp. The beef did not have the glisten of freshly cooked grease that you see off of a normal griddle cooked burger instead it was a greaseless dark dry edged patty. I immediately followed the instructions on the receipt to provide feedback and called the local store. I was met with a very argumentative manager on duty named Ashley who basically called the customer a liar. She rebuttled that the burgers come by default with Mayo and ketchup so that I must be not telling the truth. If that was true then why did the burgeers only have mayo on them and no ketchup which proves that she is wrong they did mess up the order. I got a follow up email about 4 days later from a guy named Jeff who apparently operates this joint. He seemed more interested in being right than customer retention. The only thing he took ownership for was the beef not being fresh. Basically echoed Ashley's sentiment and insinuated that I did not put in the order right and argued with me that the app does not have an option for no condiments. At the time I put in my order it allowed for customization which I clearly put no condiments. Good luck if you have a bad experience here they will insinuate that you are lying and don't want to believe the customer and prefer their pride over having a customer come back to this joint. Yeah I got my money back but beware customers of a place that ignores food allergies and does not respect when you customize your burgers or food items. Never coming back. You...
Read moreI favor using the app to place and order, but sometimes it is difficult to find certain items. Today the Root Beer Float was nowhere to be seen. The location it self was pretty typical for Sonic, if you have visited one previously. This is a "car hop" style location, and is typical of their purpose built structures. I have been to a few that offered indoor seating, but those are rare. If you are after a frozen drink, then no need to look any further. If you are into eating healthy, this probably won't tick the boxes for you. The car hop was friendly, the location looking decently picked up and tidy. This was a 4 out of 5 stars visit. Good, with room to improve. The ingress and egress of the parking lot is a complete pain, and that is why this is a 4 star location. The management cannot improve the situation, nor the employee, but getting back on to Adams street is painful enough that I usually visit the Belton location. Perhaps corporate could lobby the city for an entrance off of Kegley Rd, though that probably would not happen until there are more businesses on that corner. This location seems to be with other Sonic locations, but it stuck with the challenge or customers struggling to get back onto a...
Read moreAs much as Route 44 drinks cost; not Happy Hour; you would think they would give you the RIGHT amount of cherries and limes for the drink. When I ask for the right amount they sometimes get an attitude or act like they don’t understand or it’s a bother. I could reveal to them that I was a manager for Sonic’s for years. I could tell them that I operated the #2 store that was #11 before I was hired and took over for that particular state… but what’s the point? Sonic locations seems to no longer care about giving exceptional service and food, having customers and their cars lined up on the main access road trying to get into the parking lot to order place their order(s) from the Sonic’s I managed. I realize everyone can not be me. I would think that if I’m paying full price and my drink order supposed to come with 4 cherries and 4 lime slices, why am I not receiving what I’m paying for? I feel ripped off every time I patronize Sonic’s. A lot of people are being ripped off whether they realize it or not. It’s truly a shame and disgrace. Instead of patronizing for decades, several times of the week, at different locations across numerous states, I now only patronize maybe once every 4 months…if that. It’s...
