Hillbilly's BBQ — Restaurant in Tennessee Ridge

My visit was very hopeful of getting some good bar-b-que. I am from Texas, where Bar-B-Que is a way of life. So I like to try the different styles of Bar-B-Que from different areas of the country. But what we take pride in more than Bar-B-Que is our friendly, hospitality service. Unfortunately, that's not what I received before I ever taste the food the service attitude was sour by the lady working the window. When I got the food the order was wrong probably because she was so focused on her sarcastic responses to my general questions. May have been upset about working on the fourth of July. Now the food. I ordered two pork sandwiches and a sausage sandwich. I asked for extra sauce and she said it's on the sandwich. The sausage had no sauce. I had to go back to the window to request more sauce and this irritated her even more. The sausage sandwich was okay but the pulled pork tasted a little sour. My husband and I decided we wanted to try something different for dinner tonight, so we went to Hillbilly's BBQ and we loved it! I got the half chicken with the Hillbilly beans and coleslaw. The beans were amazing 👏 the chicken was so moiste and tender. Very delicious and the coleslaw reminded me of KFC. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with two sides he also got the Hillbilly beans and he got potato salad it was so good! The meat was so flavorful and the prices were not too high either. Stopped in after visiting Fort Donelson Civil War Park. Ordered bbq chicken, for me, bbq pork for the wife. Once we got back on the hwy homeward bound wife served out the lunch sandwiches. I took the first bite and found raw and I mean raw chicken in my sandwich. Had the wife look at it and she found more. Not sure what is happening there but eating raw chicken will make you sick.
