I want to start by saying I really like your food. Everything is always fresh and tastes great. The staff is always sweet and friendly. With that being said you all are missing a big opportunity in order accuracy. 3 out of the 5 times I’ve been there my order has been wrong. The first time I ate there I was given the wrong sandwich completely. I ended up eating it anyways because I was hungry and it was still good, just not what I ordered. Tonight and the previous time I ate there was mustard on my sandwich when I clearly said no mustard. Tonight I repeated myself at least twice knowing it had been an issue before. As a result of this I had to give the sandwich back to them and hold everyone up behind me. It took roughly 10 minutes for a new sandwich to be made which still wasn’t what I had originally ordered, it didn’t have mustard on it but they forgot my bacon on the new sandwich. Also my sides I had ordered along with my sandwich got cold waiting. Sympathetic to staff and individuals behind me I just ate it anyways to avoid holding anyone else up. I’d like to offer a bit of constructive criticism; maybe consider some one on one training with employees you put on the drive thru to take orders. Make sure they have a clear understanding of the system and how to ring things up properly to insure accuracy. It would be a good idea to ask each customer, “does everything look correct on the screen?” after they place their order. Maybe just put a sticky note reminding the employee to say that attached to the register. Also when they get to window consider reading back their order to them like they do at Chick fil a. Read moreFood is always delicious and fresh. Staff always friendly and responsive. I can go in and have a conversation with them (when they aren't busy obviously) and they remember the things we talked about. Love that sort of service! They brought out a philly cheese steak recently and it's fantastic! I haven't had a philly I liked since Capriotti's in Las Vegas. Freddy's is inexpensive and flavorful. Pairs pretty well with the freddy sauce as well so thats cool if you like to dip things.
The manager I see the most is Tommy, and he's super nice and friendly. I always see him working alongside the regular members of the team. I've seen him do just about everything and I appreciate a manager whom is willing to get in the trenches so to speak. The restaurant is always clean and tidy and everything is well stocked.
I also appreciate how thoughtful the staff is collectively speaking. I regularly purchase the cake cone double scoop of vanilla, and sometimes it'll be a little more melty than other times (usually when they've been busy) and they always do their best to give me napkins or a cup for it on the off chance that it's too messy. Great service all around. Great food for reasonable prices. Staff is always willing to work with you to meet your needs. I've never seen anyone leave here...
Read moreI’m a school principal and brought around 20 upper elementary students and a handful of teachers & chaperones to have lunch at the Knoxville Freddy’s on Tuesday, May 21 during a field trip. I did not regret this decision! I told Matthew (front line) that all of the orders were going to be on one transaction, and he patiently listened as each student gave him their order; he even noted the student names on each item so the teachers could get the meals out without any frustration. Zach (manager) moved almost nonstop between the register, the kitchen, and the dining room making sure that both the students had everything they had ordered and that the workers had his help. The kitchen crew was fantastic, because every burger/sandwich had each topping that had been requested, each sundae/concrete was made quickly and accurately. Not one thing was missing from any of the meals. The dining room was clean, as were the bathrooms. It could not have been any easier to bring my students to this restaurant for lunch.
