Gondolier Pizza — Restaurant in Knoxville

1st things 1st our Waitress was real sweet & attentive!! No problems with her at all... So that being said the cooks need to pay better attention to the orders & request from the customers.. our granddaughter ordered a medium pizza " light cheese" it came out loaded with cheese.. Sent it back to redo it.. It came back out & the waitress asked if it was ok? Granddaughter said yeah but it looked like the same pizza the edges were burnt & so was some of the toppings.. I believed it was the same pizza.. Very disappointed.. By the time it came out Husband & I were done eating.. Now I ordered cheese raviolis with light marinara and cheese on the top.. It was drenched!! So I just scraped it off went ahead & ate it.. I should have just ordered it with some sauce on the side.. I'll do that next time!!! Husband dinner was ok,, he didn't say anything so I assume he was good with it.. I wish these cooks would pay better attention to the orders.. I order things a certain way for a reason & I shouldn't have to explain why,, it should just get done right like I ask!! It certainly isn't the waitress fault, she wrote it down & read it back so it's the cooks fixing the foods that...

I am convinced that these positive reviews have got to be friends of people who work here, I took my daughter and my granddaughter last night. We sit up front for several minutes being ignored by several employees. When they finally status, we sat at our table for a solid, 20 minutes as a waitress, talked to the table behind us. She acted upset that we were interrupting her conversation. She finally took our order. I ordered the chicken Parmesan when I got it. It was horrible. The chicken was over cooked. I took two bites. My daughter had the spaghetti, and she took a few bites of it. We decided to try desert when our server finally came back I ordered a cannoli and it was hard as a rock. Today I have a wonderful stomach virus hopefully not food poisoning. No one checked on us. No one asked us if we were OK. I paid for it and left it yet because that’s the kind of person I am, but I will never go back to this horrible place again. They act like it’s a huge inconvenience for you...

Haven't been in a very long time, I was reminded why again.

1st off the good- Chocolate covered Cannoli and White Chocolate Raspberry cake were delicious. Server was nice

The bad- we got a sampler appetizer with the ravioli, zucchini, pickles and tenders, all fried. But when they came out it looked like a bland plate where all the food came pre frozen and battered, it was overcooked and bland, the zucchini was the only one that tasted any good. Also got a grilled Chicken sandwich and salad, the sandwich was dry and chewy (overcooked) the salad was ok but it's only Iceberg lettuce and a few toppings, pretty basic

The ugly - walking in there is peeling tint on the windows and it has a distinct dated feel, there is also plexiglass still between all the booths, up for a while now as it's no longer very clear and you can tell it's been diminished overtime.

Overall, I won't go back anytime soon unless it's for a chocolate...
