I was so excited about a Salsaritaās opening near me because I used to be a Salsarita addict. I was finally able to grab some lunch today (chicken burrito combo ) and took it to-go to have at home. The first few bites were delicious (although the chicken seemed to be very dry and old looking) until I felt something hard and sharp in my mouth, chipping a tooth. A CHICKEN BONE!!! A very very sharp bone....after pulling that out of my mouth, I immediately lost my appetite. I literally had 4 bites...what a waste. Bones disgust me and after paying $8 plus dollars (more expensive than the lunch menu at Cancunās etc) for something I canāt eat...upsets me. Iām not trying to give my life story here but I donāt eat out a lot and consider it a treat. I wanted to post my review on yelp so I could post a photo as proof but thereās no listing for this place yet. I hate to think what would have happened had a child or even myself swallowed it because it would hurt someone, cut or get caught..or choke..especially of a child! I suggest having someone check out the chicken carefully to avoid a potential lawsuit. I honestly donāt know if Iāll ever give this location a second try. Maybe I should try the ground beef...surely to god thereās no bones in that too lol! I will update or change my review if I decide to give this place another shot. At the rate this place is going (low reviews) yāall will be out of business as fast as Dunkinā Donuts š¤š Sorry...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFast in and fast out. If you want to eat moderately healthy and move along quickly, the service is quick. Unfortunately, they changed their bowl sizes to match Chipotle, but for the same price, it is not even near the quantity. Check out the photo I posted; the bowl is not even half way full, yet it is trivial to still make a profit and not have this experience. Do you know what is cheap? Beans. Beans and rice are so cheap and it's a great food to have during poverty as it makes a great protein. It is a great "filler" for food items like this. You know what else is cheap? Iceberg lettuce. Iceberg lettuce is so nutritionally devoid, it could almost be like putting water on one's food. It is also another filler that could have been used. It's honestly a better value to buy dirty socks over iceberg lettuce, but you wouldn't want to eat dirty socks, yet it still be more beneficial in the long run. I lost 30lbs eating bowls at Salsarita's, but it wasn't from quantity. Apparently, Salsarita's wants it to be based on such. I'll be back at some point to give them a chance to redeem themselves, and while I recognize that these things happen on a person to person basis, it's the business that gets singled out during...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSalsaritaās is one of my favorite quick eats places to go. Iāve been going to the one in turkey creek for five years and love it. So when I found out one was opening a mile from my house I couldnāt wait. Itās always been ok but not nearly as good as the one near my work until today Sunday 7-14-19 at around 6pm. I ordered my familyās dinner to go. The high school kids working the store couldnāt even cut my quesadilla, I watched two girls struggle to cut and place it in the to go box for over a minute. Then they left the salsa out of both quesadillas and there were gnats and flies around the āfresh ingredientsā. Then to end the whole sorry visit I had to remind them that I made two items combos with chips and queso at the register. I will not visit this location again. This location is severely lagging behind the other Knox area locations in quality. Iām updating this after eating some of my meal. The quesadillas were ok but not great. The queso was lumpy and not very good and the order of nachos had about enough meat and cheese for...
