Decent steak, a bit too much salt. We also had a few small issues with the food. I am on the fence about giving 3 stars, but the waitress was very attentive. The manger was quick to help and made the right decisions as well. Sarah and Susan pushed this back to a four because of their great customer service.
Follow-up: First time back after 3 years and it was not a good experience. The outback ribeye was burned on the outside, but nicely cooked in the middle. It was nicely explained to me that they cook over an open flame and that can happen. The manager apparently thinks I have never barbecued before. All I could picture was the person working the grill was a pyro. I write this after I made my way home and I can still taste that burned charcoal flavor! How does one get rid of it?! They offered to cook me another on the flat top and I agreed. In the meantime, I ate the sweetest sweet potato I have ever had even though I asked for no toppings. They likely cooked it so long it candied. The broccoli also seemed to have a half stick of butter on it. When the new steak came out, they included broccoli with it as well. The new broccoli also tasted like it had a half stick of butter on it. However, once I checked the steak that was quite rare, I realized it also had a stick of butter on it. Perhaps some of that is getting into the broccoli. Either way, if you are looking for a good steak, you are taking a gamble coming here. They clearly think butter makes the steak and do not know the difference between flame kissed and charcoal. The company I was with had a nicely cooked filet and her broccoli was not overly buttery, so it does seem its the luck of the draw. As you can imagine, she was done by the time my second steak came out, so she had to wait on me to eat it. I don't know about you, but that messes up the whole atmosphere in my opinion. And to top it all off, wouldn't you know I got charged full price. I guess charcoal is acceptable by...
Read moreWell I've been to this location several times, this most recent experience was a complete disaster! Its Easter Sunday, I'm a widow and was having a bad day, decided to drive from my apartment that is legit 3 minutes away to get a steak that I had been craving since I'm alone and no where to go for Easter dinner, i sat at the bar ordered a bloody Mary, took my time looking over the menu, meanwhile u became upset SLIGHTLY, I was mourning over the loss of my husband, (2 years today) I asked for another drink and the bartender quickly responded " no I dont feel comfortable serving you" hmmm really? I was beyond upset, but I ordered food because that's "what I needed to do according to bartender " I ordered a large steak along with a lobster tail (pretty pricey for me) but I thought hey its Easter and your sad so go for it" she brought me my salad mind you I had been eating peanuts before.. before my meal came (this was after about 40 minutes ] I asked for a drink and she said to me you need to speak to my manager.. I was like ok? He came out and proceeded to tell me that the bartender thought that I should not be served any longer. For no apparent reason other than the fact that I was upset. She also said to me do I need to call someone? Call you a cab? I've never ever experienced this before, wll maybe when I was in my 20s but I am a 55 yr old woman who just wanted a steak, and I was harrassed by the bartender, oh ya and another customer who decided it was funny chimed in by laughing at the situation, when I voiced my displeasure she offered to bring me outside and finish me off.. I will never ever go back to this place as I was treated with complete disrespect and like I was a bum...
