Al's Pizza House — Restaurant in Texas

Horrible horrible customer service .. had the same problem that happened twice and finally had to call the owner who answered the phone and didn’t listen to me for one minute. He went on and on about how he’s gonna close the store and getting bad reviews, how he doesn’t usually answer the phone and does not have time to listen to me he is to busy dealing with the bad weather and whatever else that is more important than a customer. I ended up listening to him complain the entire call.. ordered a dish two weeks ago and they waited 30-45 min to call me back and tell me they don’t have what they charged me for and ordered .. told me find something around the same price to order ... 1 hour waisted and on top they charged me for the wrong order when I got there. I had to wait more for a refund .... gave them another chance 2 weeks later and the same problem again!! Order my dish, they call back 35 min later to tell me they don’t have it and order something else!! I cancelled my order, and told them to refund my money .. one day later, my account still shows they did not refund my money so I called the owner who didn’t have time to listen to my problem with HIS restaurant ... so After 3 additional phone calls from my job I got to listen to Al talk for minutes about how he doesn’t have time in this weather having too much to deal with and can’t listen to my problem until later.. they still have my money and i still have a headache.. save...

I've lived in Copperfield for 25 years and have passed Al's countless times. We decided to give it a shot today as we were at Special Pals Animal Hospital with some of our pets. Overall Fantastic food! Everything we got was delicious, well cooked and hot. We took advantage of a $20.99 special that had a large pizza with two toppings, 10 wings and a 2 liter bottle of soda. The wings were huge! The only issue was they sent the wrong dipping sauce. I asked for blue cheese and I got some kind of vinaigrette. That wasn't an issue for me, as I have blue cheese at home but if I didn't I kind of would have been upset about that! Other than that though not a deal breaker for me. They were also well cooked and the sauce was very good. I've had wings at other pizza places before and usually they have wings that have a lot of bloodlines and dark meat in them. These wings were delicious & very flavorful! The pizza was also very good. It had plenty of toppings on it, it was nice and thin and a great flavor overall. Plus, it reheated good as well! Both ladies that were there, one that took my order & at the counter and the other that was doing the cooking were both very pleasant. The atmosphere of the place inside was very nice too. It has a cute little dining area, in the front, that was sectioned off and an outdoor patio area, if you want to brave the heat and sit out there! Lol We will...

On 5/28/22 we ordered 3 pizzas and wings. As you can see in pictures the was hardly any, if at all, sauce in the pizza. The wings were super dried, so much you could see the shiny, clean aluminum foil on the bottom, which attests to how dried they were. We called and asked how they can fixed this but we confronted a nasty person (Erika) who has been working here for 10 years (she claims) who disagreed with us saying the pizza was good, there was nothing wrong, as she gave us her attitude over the phone. When I asked for her name, she sarcastically answered us. She was extremely rude on the phone. She never once apologized, never once offered to fix the problem or remake or anything at all. Once we personally showed up, she toned it way down but still argued the pizza was fine. She still never offered to remake. After we waited about 40 minutes we asked for our money back. Supposedly no one could do that only the owner, which no one could get a hold of or knew of when he was coming. If her attitude would not have been so nasty and rude and arrogant, we would’ve gladly had them remake. But she made this whole experience extremely difficult. It’s unfortunate because the owner is a really nice person, he just has incompetent people working as the “face” of the restaurant. People like her should be somewhere far, far away...
