Update: Increased my initial rating bc we have ordered several times over 2 or so years and the food does taste good. I will also give it to them that they have a diverse and large menu so that is a positive.
We’ve ordered from Ben’s several times over the last couple of years and the service has really tanked in recent months. We live about 8 minutes away but it consistently takes over an hour and a half for delivery when they quote you 45 minutes. It’s one thing to inform us up front of the expected wait but to double that…and just say “the driver left a long time ago so he should be there soon” is not really acceptable after the 2nd or 3rd time. We tip around $10 every time regardless if the amount is low, but the past few orders have left us pretty disappointed.
Last time they delivered the wrong pizza to us and brought a replacement OVER AN HOUR later. The store employee on the phone requested that we give it back to the driver so he could deliver it to the correct address because the driver apparently switched the drop-off accidentally. Of course we didn’t expect to keep both orders but to take a pizza back an hour later to deliver to another customer is disgusting.
They’re close by but we definitely won’t be ordering delivery anymore after the repeated trouble and ridiculous wait times. Save yourself and just pick it...
Read moreOnly reason we felt the need to leave a review was because of the situation and overall quality of not just service but food. We ordered a pizza and some bread and as it was Christmas; options were limited. The pizza and breadsticks were TRASH. We would’ve had better luck going to little ceasers or making a Red Baron pizza from Walmart. Granted it was SO BAD, my husband called them immediately and was told if it was cold it was due to a third party… well we told him we got the order and it was still warm but the taste of the pizza was terrible so we’d be willing to COMPLETELY RETURN THE PIZZA. The guy then said that was fine and asked us to come to the store and give back the pizza/breadsticks in return for a refund, so WE DID. Upon arrival we noticed the delivery guy was also the “manager” who provided the “refund” so no third party delivery company was EVER involved. It’s now February 9th and we have yet to receive the refund for the food we didn’t even eat and returned. But the manager was slick enough to provide an order receipt as “proof of refund” and state that was all he could provide when we called back to confirm why a refund was not yet received. So in Summary, Save your money. Paying almost 45$ for a pizza and some breadsticks at the quality of a Red Baron pizza for...
Read moreFirst time ordering from here and it was very disappointing. I purchased 12 wings in mango habanero and the spinach and garlic ravioli. First, it took over 45 minutes to deliver and I live 8 minutes away. When it arrived, the wings were cold. It seems they drizzled only a tablespoon of sauce for 12 wings. Majority of the wings didnt have sauce and on top of that they were dry and hard. The few that did have sauce, it was a very thin drizzle. The ravioli was very hard and tough to chew as well. I couldn't cut through it with a fork and didnt taste or see any garlic. Spent over $30 on food I couldn't enjoy.
In response to owner: You couldn't get my order made correctly the first time and yet you expect me to spend more money towards your business? There was no accountability, no steps taken to remake my order. Instead you offer a 10% discount on another order, which is maybe $3 based on my order total. You have multiple complaints about this same issue. So it's obvious your company doesnt care about customers feedback on the quality of your food, and taking measures to actually...
