Brothers Pizza Express — Restaurant in Texas

I absolutely love their pizza! I've been eating at Brothers since they opened their first location in Houston. I've eaten at every one of them. I eat Pizza at least 3 times a week....Don't hate!! But for real, I've had some pretty damn good pizza all over the country. This place tops them all. I travel 30 miles ONE WAY to pick up one of their pies. Now, I do have one complaint here and I hope they will fix it. They quit taking orders 15 minutes before they close. I did not know this being that I normally order at around 7pm. I drove about 90% of my 30 mile ONE WAY trip knowing that I would get there about 10 TO 15 minutes before they close. And I was freakin hungry too!! So I called 5 minutes prior to my arrival to place my order......NO ANSWER. This was about 12 minutes before their posted closing time. I called back 2 more times just to keep getting an answering machine. I left a message explaining my situation. I even left my info asking for someone to PLEASE call me back. Never got a ring back. I was pretty upset about this being a business owner myself, so instead of just saying, "screw them" and never returning, I just try to order earlier. So, in my opinion based on the way 99% of other companies do business........ They should take orders (even at the very last minute) until their posted hours of operation. If they want to stop taking orders at 8:45pm, they should post "Closing time: 8:45pm". Because if they aren't taking anymore business, this means they are closed in the customers eyes. I close my stores at 9pm. But I don't turn the "Open sign" off until 9pm. We start our closing duties just after 9 when the last customer has been...

I came here looking a quick lunch, and was blown away. I had ordered a side salad, and a single slice of pizza just out of curiosity.

I would have been contempt with a run of the mill salad item, but I was given an extra nice salad with pepperoni and mozerella, and more than enough ranch to coat the whole thing. It was unexpected, and too good for just a side item.

The single large slice of pepperoni came in, and although it looked like any old pizza, its anything but that. Their pepperoni was perfect level of crispy on the bottom, and biting into it was the right amount of chewy.

Even the crusts of the pizza was pretty tasty.

Their utensil area even has a cool slot machine (only there for decoration, but big vibes) and lots of classical movie posters plattered everywhere.

The employees there even changed out a lightbulb for me because it was too dim (I legit thought it was just a part of the athmosphere 😅)

Also, you should try to eat your pizza new york style. The pizza slice is super big and it definitely makes sense on why people fold it hotdog style.

Also the emplyees have new york accents, and their pizza really does taste like what people describe what authentic new york pizza to taste like.

This is not a criticism, its advice to help you eat their pizza without a knife and fork (though I doubt they'll kill you over it if you do 😁)

Found out about this pizza place when my brother was doing Ubereats. Finally decided to dine-in. We ordered 3 pizzas: 1st one was Grilled Chicken with Mushrooms and Green Bell Peppers. Great taste, very hot, and cheese was nicely melted. 2nd pizza ordered was a Margherita pizza. Margherita pizza ingredients include: Mozarella Cheese, Sliced Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Flavorful taste, very hot, and crust was perfect! 3rd pizza ordered was a choose your own toppings. It consisted of Peperroni, Ham, Mushrooms, Green Bell Peppers, and Onions. The smell and taste was amazing! Pizza was hot and made to perfection.👌🏻 Ingredients were evenly proportioned. I also ordered a small salad which had Lettuce, Black Olives, Peperroni slices, Sliced Tomatoes, and grated Mozzarella Cheese. Overall we were very satisfied with service. The person who took our order was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. We had our pizzas brought out to our table. The people there have a good sense of humor. You can tell that it is a very friendly atmosphere and that they enjoy what they do. We definitely recommend this place. I will be coming back again to eat this delicious pizza with my family.
