First this taqueria is cooking their food for conscious minds and conscious palettes. There are vegan and vegetarian options on the respective menus. The refried beans are made with vegetable oil and not traditional cooking lard, with regards to Mexican cuisine. I was informed that all the ingredients are prepared with vegan and vegetarians in mind daily, because their customer base consist of so many of these preferences. I went into this place with my own regular expectations of a taqueria, and came out educated. I ordered like I usually do the things that I intended to order. 2 breakfast tacos and 1 barbacoa taco. To me, and my usual taqueria palette, these tacos were average. But through communication with the owner about my experience with the food, I learned a lot, therefore in retrospect these tacos were actually really good, just different, but, different for all the right reasons. With all the cancer, heart disease, skin conditions, diabetes, and other diseases that we are aware of, Taco + is ahead of the curb with regards to their approach to Mexican cuisine, and attempting to make it healthier, while also preserving the traditions that make Mexican food distinctly Mexican. I would say they did a very very good job. The only reason I did not give a five-star review is because I did not get a five-star experience this day. My expectations felt unmet in the very beginning. So with the education that I got from the owner and a different set of expectations, I look forward to going back to this place and giving the owner and his family a fair review by ordering off the vegan or vegetarian menu as I'm sure they will demonstrate that they continue to be ahead of the curb in their ability to accommodate health conscious restrictions while still providing great quality Mexican food.

I was excited to find this place right around the corner of my new digs. Unfortunately, the service was lukewarm, which was the first red-flag. Then there was the food. I asked and was charged for an extra side of bacon, which I guess they conveniently forgot. Plus the extra beans on my tacos. Plus, they also have a weird salsa policy. Oh, and to make matters worse the table next to mine, even though they had more people, got their food first, even though the owners and I listen to the same music. I guess I’ll keep looking for a new taco shop.

I always go here as my after work or after church bite to eat spot. The staff is incredibly kind and respectful of their customers and I've NEVER seen a group of teenagers work with such diligence and detail as the young ladies and gentlemen working here. And of course the food is delicious! I highly recommend trying the carnivore breakfast burrito.

Ate lunch here several times with some coworkers and each time it has slowly progress towards not being the greatest. I will say their barbacoa is good but the pastor is not good at all. All in all they do have decent tacos but nothing special.

Edited after the owner's response as follows: Thanks Joshua, I don't find a 5 stars but It's not fair to any of us (#Quick Quack Car Wash, Koji's Ramen Bistro, Sonic Drive-In, U'Maki Sushi Burrito, Pizza Hut, Five Guys, Arby's, & Taco Plus) to write several reviews at the same time

So once or twice a week i will go through and do some reviews of places which obviously the owner of this establishment doesn't like because i reviewed just more than them on the same day. Now i gave this place an average rating which is 3 stars because thats what i feel this place is average. There's nothing special about this taco place as there are 100s in the metropolitan area to choose from. Now the response of a good establishment would have been to me something along the lines of sorry you caught us on an off day we will work on improving our product. Not saying its not fair that i reviewed more than one place on any given day. Overall after the response of the owner not being very professional i believe this place will not be on my return list. Although I'm going to leave the 3 stars since its average even though i should deduct stars for...

I go to this restaurant OFTEN have been going here since 2014. Today I go and I place my order for 2 fajita beef tacos(lettuce, sour cream and cheese ONLY) and I also ordered queso. The queso originally comes with cilantro and pico. I asked the guy who took my order to make sure my queso was PLAIN! After sitting for 15min and watching two cars behind me leave before (which they probably had call in orders so I can’t trip on that) me, I got my food. As I eat my tacos the beef taste like it was old or prepared prior to today. Which if I’m being up charged and waiting for 15mins I expect my food to be made fresh. Secondly I opened my queso and it wasn’t PLAIN it still had pico and cilantro in it. So now I’ve wasted $12.96. I called the restaurant and the owner who is the cook gets on the phone and starts to talk to me rudely about not understanding my problem with the tacos and how she doesn’t have this issues which is besides the point… so now I’m mad and I raise my voice and let her know once again I’ve been supporting since 2014 idc who ain’t returned their food I need my refund since now I’m back at work and can’t eat it. She goes on to say you’ll get a refund when you return my food. Like really…. DO NOT EAT here the food is not fresh and the owner is rude and care lol her customer and...
