Buchanans Music Hall — Restaurant in Texas

Pre-event review: (3 -4 Stars) Went by to pick up tickets for Joe Lopez y Mazz show and dance. 1st time inside of the facility, looks decent sized. Post-event review: (1 star, a very small star) I bought a $600 "allegedly" VIP Table for 8 persons, but when arrive, it is small booth with barely enough room for 5, max 6 persons (leaving 2 persons to sit on very uncomfortable upholstered squares with NO back support literally on the walkway in and out of the "VIP" area. Yes, there was a Security Guard checking "VIP" passes, but EVERY girl that asked him to walk in to take pictures from the front of the stage was ALLOWED to do so. I will highly recommend anyone considering to attend an event at this place to AVOID spending the extra money for a "VIP" table! It is NOT WORTH the money and even if the artists are extremely close, the actual view is constantly obstructed by the constant traffic going in and out of the "VIP" area and people taking pictures in front of the stage for up to 5 at a time. I actually got up and told a couple that I paid "extra" money for an up close view of the artist, not the back of his hat... In conclusion, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT ATTEND A CONCERT AT BUCHANANS MUSIC HALL...

We came to see the Lockharts, which we follow, and the place seemed great except for the flashing lights and very few tables available, and we were behind people that constantly talked so it was difficult to enjoy the music, but the worst thing was the incompetent waiter Manuel for table number 76. He came one time to take our drink order and did not understand what a virgin drink was or how to take an order for a cherry Coke so he offered a beer. I went to the bar to get my drink, and he delivered the other two at the table. As he passed, we asked him for a menu. because we intended to eat there, but we never got a menu and he never came back to the table again, even though he passed right by our table to the group above us. Needless to say, it was a bad experience and we will go see the Lockharts...

I would give it zero stars if I could. I was never refunded my money from a concert that got cancelled due to Covid. I had 6 tickets at $50 each , plus a table. That’s over $300. Every time I went or messaged I was given the run around. On one occasion that I went, I was told only the owner could give me the refund because they didn’t have that much money in the register. I had driven all the way from Harlingen because on the phone they had told me to go in. Now they are saying it is too late for refunds and that it is my fault. How sad that they are stealing money from people. I know other people had...
