There was no one else there when I went. First, the waitress had trouble understanding me, and she had to call over someone else to translate for her, so it took about 5 minutes of back-and-forth for them to get my order. They got my order correct and it came out in a lesurely time; if you're in a hurry, this is not the place to eat. I ordered the pollo con tejadas: it was only ok--I've had better chicken from KFC and I hate that place. But you come here for the seafood, so that was my mistake. I wanted to try the dessert, but I really didn't want to have another extended back-and-forth with the waitresses then wait even more to get the last of my food. One the one hand, it was a nice authentic experience. On the other hand, the whole thing just made me frustrated. My quest for good Honduran food runs deep!! Read some reviews on this dive and decided to give it a try. My table ordered a variety of plates from baleadas, pupusas, tajadas con carne molida, yucca con chicharon, platanos maduros con frijoles y crema, and carne asada.... Totally met all of my expectations. Carne asada could have been just a tad bit more tender, but not bad enough to alter this review. Would have loved to have Horchata, but not available today. I opted to drink Mora juice. Staff was very friendly, except for a gentleman at the counter he doesn't have a very good poker face. Seemed bothered and a bit strange as if people were not going to pay for food ordered. He might want to work on that, could hurt business. Food came out super fast. Will definitely be back!! Super clean, very cute, wonderful staff. "Dinner only cost $10?" My husband asked... and we were both stuffed. It was our first time trying Salvadoran food and we really liked it. The pupusas were delicious. He had pork, cheese, beans, I had the loroco and cheese. We devoured every bite. Creamy cheese, fresh meat, generous portions, quickly cooked to order.

I have a food handler permit and I notice things others don't. I am very picky. Everything was perfect. We are definitely eating here again.
