Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Texas

1st trip. 8:20pm 7/30/2022. Asked for extra candy on a large blizzard and it was barely half a spoon. Also ordered a hot fudge sundae.. either they put chocolate syrup on it or it was malt syrup. Whatever it was it tasted like dishwater.

Update: 2nd trip. 11:45 7/31/2022. Went to DQ at noon the day after this incident above. And I was charged $1.00 more for a triple meat burger. I asked why the burger had cost $12. although the menu said the burger was 8.38. She told me it was the bacon and jalapeños. I was thinking they were charging $3.00 for bacon or something. She printed out my reciept and there it was, the price of the burger was actually $9.29. Regardless of the price of the burger. I had asked her for no lettuce, no tomato, extra pickles and extra onions with bacon and jalapeños and I wanted the meat cooked well well done. Meaning I wanted my burger cooked fresh with zero grease dripping off. The time on my reciept was 11:40. I walked out to my truck to put my wallet and drinks inside and walked back into the store. The cashier literally met me at the door at 11:42 with my burger in a bag. I said to her, "this was cooked fresh?" She said, "yes". I asked if it was cooked well done.. meaning not still rendering fat and destroying my buns turning them into mush. She replied, "Yes".. This was a lie. I literally went to my truck and opened the bag and the burger was a sopping soggy mess and I hadn't even left the parking lot yet.

And finally third times a charm. 4:57pm 7/31/2022 Went in, ordered a triple meat again, 6 tacos, and my son a kids meal. Again, asked for no lettuce, no tomato, extra pickles and extra onions with bacon and jalapeños and I wanted the meat cooked well well done. And again, meat was still rendering fat, literally dripping out of the wrapper. No bacon or jalapeños on the burger.. only 3 pickles and one ring of onion. Basically slop by the time I got home. There was no taco sauce in the taco boxes when we got home either.

I am from Houston. And you guys prices are atrocious. I eat at DQ in Houston at least 5-6 times a week. When I'm out of town I eat at DQ almost every meal. We went through the drive-thru, ordering chicken strip dinners, burgers, and blizzards. We were asked to pull forward and park while our food was prepared. Apparently, they made the Blizzards first because they were melted and pooling in the bottom of the drink holder when our food was brought to the car. Pressed for time, I wasn't afforded the opportunity to insist they make fresh Blizzards because we were on a deadline. Our destination was less than five minutes away, yet that did not spare us from the horrific fate awaiting us. The kind folks at DQ had not only sealed our fate with melted ice cream, they made certain we were left without any defense, as they didn't provide a single napkin within the bags of our gigantic order. Getting out of the car was a special treat, as the melted ice cream found its way into every nook and cranny of the cars leather upholstery and left the bearer looking as though she had pooped her pants, and the soggy drink holder left a trail of evidence down the halls and corridor of the building upon...

Update from previous review!! Came in on 11/20/2021 about 830pm. While young man was very polite and trying to take care of us and others in line and waiting at counter the manager however!! Was ridiculously rude to his employees. The young man was already taking care of several customers while manager was literally barking orders. He was yelling at employee to do that do the drinks for this order do the bag for drive thru. He was out of line period!! He should have been working himself! Instead of barking at his employees that way. As a manager he should have been asking his employees if they needed help!! If hes this rude in front of customers how rude is he when no customers are present. Maybe he needs to be an employee instead of manager .
