Delightful Donut “2” Kolache & Cafe — Restaurant in Texas

We just moved to the area and really wanted to have a donut. We try to always try local mom and pop spots over chain locations just to support the community. I walked in and was immediately welcomed. The smells coming from the delicious food was strong. I grabbed a handful of all types of donuts which ended up being very good. They were sweet but not overly so and airy like a pillow. Their kolache’s were amazing as well. I tried not only their sausage but also their ham and cheese both being very good. The people who work here are just amazing. They were friendly and welcoming. I like a good ol' plain glazed donut. These are worth the drive out of your way. My husband really like Krispy Cream donuts but I don't like that dissolve in your mouth texture they have. I like a donut that has a tall build up from the proofing process, and they is fluffy delight to chew. If you like that, too, Go here. I usually don't get there until about closing and miss out on the extravagant donuts so get there early if you want the fancier donuts. Those are also really good. Had to stop here and try it out. Veteran Owned. Specialty Donuts, Kolaches and Coffee. For a small mom and pop shop they are doing way better than DD. My kids had the spinkle Donuts. The Blueberry Cake Donut was delicious. I agree with the other Local Guide Kimberly Crouch. The Spicy Boudin Kolache is genius! I already have HEB Boudin with everything! The place is clean and well kept. Great customer service. It is dangerous going in here if your watching your weight, but WELL worth it. If you want to sit down and eat, they have tables.
