Fish Place Dickinson — Restaurant in Texas

One of the most consistent complain was the taste of the food, about how it had no flavor. I order carry-out on Sunday, the restaurant was slow but clean so the appearance and the cleanliness of the store says allot about the food in my opinion(basically if the kitchen is dirty) they had fountain drinks and three homemade drinks set up neatly on the counter. They have a good variety of food to choose from, I rarely eat seafood so my to go is fish and shrimp. The cashier was helpful and good at suggestions, with it being slow my order was out in a timely manner. Overall experience with the order was great! Now the taste of the food was not the best, BUT that doesn't take away from the experience I've had. The food had flavor but me personally felt it could of use more spice or zest(whatever you call it) the way they packed the food was with care and still hot when brought home. This doesn't mean I wont go back and shouldn't mean you shouldn't try it out, support your local business. Food was still good but next time I'm dining in and choosing something different, not cause i didn't like my first choice but more cause there was much more to choose. Check it out...

Boudin balls (however you spell them) tasted... White. like lightly seasoned stuffing and rice... Man the Arab cornerstore by Texas Southern University, across from Frenchies, were way better than these

They are pretty good! We had problems with billing what was supposed to be a side was added to our bill that was posted as two sides was added as part of an add on to the special after we confirmed with the waiter it was our understanding and confirmation that we could get two salads as two sides but they tried to add the salad and not give us our side as a salad and didn’t give us a side to go so we then could pay for the salad and then get the side they felt was a side that is so confusing! The order came with two sides and a salad we asked for instead of the two sides can we have a extra salad and you keep the two sides and where told yes so he brought out 2 salads then he tried to bill us for an extra salad we said then give us our two sides to go then n we will pay for the extra salad and they got really frustrated over the fact that we exchange at with the waiter that we could get an extra salad in exchange for the two sides...
