My experience with Iron Den isn't typical. I actually haven't worked out there, but I narrowly avoided a collision caused by a distracted driver about 200 yards from their location. I hit the median curb rupturing both of my driver's side tires of my F150. It could've been worse, and, of course the other driver didn't stop to render aid. But, I knew that as soon as I stopped the vehicle that it might cause further damage. So, I guided my truck to a safe, secure parking lot where I could call for a tow not knowing what the full damage to my truck would be. Iron Den was where I ended up. Rather than hassle me, either the owner or manager came to check on me and let me stay within steps of assistance until my husband could come by to drive me to the dealership (2 y/o truck w/ hazard warranty for wheels and tires) after the truck was towed. And, even though the tow truck driver was extremely competent, it was blocking their parking lot for a solid 15 minutes. Again, the only concern showed toward me and my predicament was for my safety. League City is incredibly safe, but a jerk that was texting rather than driving stripped a little bit of sense of safety. However, my experience with Iron Den was one that helped repair that feeling of loss and uncertainty. It's situations like mine where my inconvenience ended up at their doorstep that shows what the mettle of a business is like. Not a single complaint was made except toward the other driver. I felt safe waiting there. And, my husband and I were treated with courtesy and sincere concern. So, if you're trying to make a decision about a gym, you know that it's situations like mine where you learn what the spirit of a business is like. This review is well-earned; and, should I find myself in the market for a new gym membership, they'll get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am going to give a hell of a review because I am moving away from Clear Lake by the end of next week and the most difficult part is having to leave this amazing gym. I started in this gym thanks to an advertisement that I saw on fb and decided to go ahead and enrolled in the 6 weeks challenge. I had never lifted or done anything too complicated so, naturally I was super intimidated on my first day. My first class was extremely challenging and by the end of that class I asked myself: what the hell did I sign up for? however, I decided to push through and I rapidly started to be able to do all the things that I never dreamed of doing before. The coaches are extremely nice and helpful, they will push you to do the difficult things but won't break your spirit. The other members are the most amazing, positive, and encouraging people I've met in a long time and the entire experience of joining this gym has changed me for the better. I lost body fat, gained muscle, gained agility, discipline, strength, knowledge on postures, exercises to target certain muscles and I put to the test what my body can really do. I made friends, workout buddies, and sincerely going to workout became the highlight of my days. if you are looking for a place to start your journey, no matter what your starting point is...this is the place for you. You will see people from different ages, weights, backgrounds, etc...come together and it is amazing seeing the progress in yourself and others. My heart feels heavy for having to leave the Iron Den Family, and I truly am not that corny so if im typing this is because I truly feel it. I encourage the person reading this to take the risk and start, you won't regret it!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst let me sayā¦The Iron Den Gym is AMAZING!!! I had the opportunity to work out with some amazing and awesome people. Being a plus size woman, and always wondering what others are thinking of you when you work out can sometimes be hard. But this gym is different. From the time I stepped foot into this place I was welcomed and was welcomed every day since the first. Not only are the owners kind and compassioned about your fitness journey! The staff and gym members are too!! There were times I told myself and others that I quit and Iām leaving. Just when Iām done another member would come along side of me and say ācome on, we can go at the same pace or come on, you got this weāll do it togetherā. I loved it! The Iron Den showed me how to love exercise, how to enjoy the foods I eat and still be healthy. The Iron Den Gym blessed me tremendously, and I know it will continue to bless others tremendously! If you want a gym where you feel like family, where the people notice when you are not around, where they encourage you to go or do it one more time. If you want a gym where you are not judged but encouraged and praised for trying to reach your fitness goals. THEN THE IRON DEN GYM IS FOR YOU! Let me be the first to say, welcome to the IRON...
