It has taken me about 4 months,but I have finally taught two of the cooks how to cook OVER EASY EGGS (yokes are still liquid with the white thuroughly cooked. The hash browns and toast comes as toast and not just warm bread thrown on the grill without all the grease that used to come on my plate to the table. If you want your eggs cooked right (without a whole lot of grease) ask for either "Flaco" or "Alex" to be your cook. They both do an excellent job of cooking a breakfast meal without using any grease. What a breath of fresh air. You'll probably live longer too. Apparently there is a new "temporary" manager working there. A shame to say but this particular location is going down hill fast. It is very clear the cleanliness is terrible from all the greasy hand marks on the front door. To the carpets which seem not to have been vacuumed in quite some time, to the nose snot some people feel is ok to blow all over the wall in the men's restroom, which is generally definately filthy. They have some really great wait staff at this location, seem to be not returning to work or are being let go for some reason I have been coming here for the past 4 years or so and have never seen it this bad. Such a shame. Really to bad. I tried to bring these concerns to the Manager on duty this morning. Apparently sent over from the South 10th street location, but he really did not really seem to care to much about the issues at hand. Sure hope they get someone who does care...
Read moreSo let's start off with the food. I went with my 78 year old mother who has to walk with a can only because there is no room to store her walker. She doesn't eat meat. So she ordered an omelet holding the meat. Three bits into it she finds all kinds of meat. Waiter comes over and brings her another omelet. Ok.. no problem. Probably the kitchen staff .. But here is where it goes south. When we were done. We still had half an omelet each and a stack of pancakes . He brings only two little boxes. So he brings the check. I pay using the QR code on the check and we head out. As I'm helping my mother to the car, the waiter comes out with another waiter and proceeded to accuse me of not paying my bill and that I had to come back in and pay.... I showed him my bank statement showing what I had paid. Long story short, after having been humiliated in front of an entire restaurant full of people, it turns out the problem was with the computer QR system. I know it doesn't matter to them, but we will not step foot back into that restaurant again. Do better people. Perhaps tell the customer that there was a problem with the transaction and if they minded coming back in to take care of it rather then accusing someone...
Read moreFeb. 26,2018,a little before 12 to 12:47+. Poor service. The waitress would bring one thing,and would show no concern to bring the rest. I wondered maybe she's not having a good day and is distracted. I looked over. Well,she sure was distracted ... chit chatting with a her coworkers, happily. The vanilla ice coffee didn't even taste like coffee. Only a bit of vanilla and a load of faucet water. The worst part, my mother ordered a omelette with a avocado,and every single slice of avocado was black. It was more black,than green. We complain to the waitress,and she says she'll tell her manager. No apology from neither one of them. We complain again to the manager,without any shame,he says,"Yeah,she told me. Thank you." The heck is a thank you for,instead of apologizing for the stupidity of putting black avocado on a plate. Again,no apology. Doesn't offer any way to make up for the poor service. Don't waste your time and don't torture your taste buds either. Oh,and one of the waitors even asked my mom rudely,if she had already paid.Uneducated humans,without manners,are running that please.
