Supervisor Valerie (Mission TX)
In May 2025, I returned an item at this store and was issued a receipt with store credit. The cashier told me to hold onto the receipt because it contained my credit and specifically said I didn’t need a gift card — she simply scanned the barcode for my next purchase, and I used part of that credit.
Fast forward to today, I returned to use the remaining credit. The cashier couldn’t process it and called a supervisor. Instead of helping, the supervisor enlarged my original receipt, dismissed what I was saying, and insisted that a gift card was given — something I was explicitly told wasn’t necessary. She claimed she reviewed the footage, but apparently only the part where the return was processed, not when I used the receipt as payment.
I calmly tried to explain, but the supervisor was rude, condescending, and outright told me what I was saying was impossible — despite the fact that I had kept the receipt for over 20 days because it still had value. I wouldn’t be holding onto a useless piece of paper otherwise.
It’s one thing to have a mix-up, but it’s another to be treated with such disrespect when simply trying to resolve an issue in good faith. Very disappointed in how this was handled. I won’t...
Read moreWent today because they had let me know that they had marvel legends red hulk target exclusive, Was waiting at 7:30a.m outside the doors of the store for them to open at 8:00 a.m, And all for nothing for them to be lying and being rude and telling me that they had the figure in the back of store. And that I had to wait until they brought all the boxes with the merchandise to the floor for that specific figure that I wanted. So I waited there from 8:00 a.m in the morning all the way to 4:00p.m in the afternoon waiting for that figure. For nothing for them to tell me that they weren't gonna take out any more merchandise and that was it, So I wasted 8 hours of my day for nothing and if they have favorite customers or favorite employs that they put things aside for then that's messed up because I thought the policy was first come first serve. I guess the early bird doesn't always...
Read moreI recently went to Target about 30 minutes before closing time. Around 10:40 p.m., I was in the card aisle looking for a last-minute birthday gift when an associate approached me and told me the store was closed. I acknowledged her but then went to grab an item from a shelf nearby. She stopped me and said, “I’m sorry, you can’t go back.”
I was really confused because it was only 10:45 p.m., and the posted hours clearly say the store closes at 11 p.m. I didn’t understand why I wasn’t allowed to quickly grab an item, which would have taken less than a minute.
I’ve never had a problem with Target before, and I do shop there from time to time, but this experience was frustrating. It definitely makes me think twice about...
