My boyfriend and I were visiting friends and decided to pick up food for everyone. It's 6pm and there's a group on 9 of us. So, I see a bbq place 3.5 miles away. So, considering I placed a last minute order for takeout for 9 guests 1 hour before the place closed service was 10/10. Some of our guest did want pulled pork but they were out so we got brisket instead, while making some of the plates they ran out of sausage and asked "Hey, is it okay if we put ribs on here as well". They were super accommodating and I was as well because it was a large last minute order. We wiped them out of everything it seemed like for the day. One of the gentlemen said he threw in a bowl of macaroni (a new menu item) as well. I thanked them and the wife helped me walk my bags to the car. (You can tell its family run, like husband, wife, and maybe the grandpa). Once at the friends house everyone began to eat and everyone said the food was amazing. The most tender brisket. The super potatoes were really sizeable. Everything was amazing 10/10 for taste.

I was skeptical of this place because you can’t smell the BBQ/smoker when you drive by it, so I decided to at least try it and see for myself. When we walked in, there were flies everywhere. The staff were not friendly/didn’t welcome us in. It was very awkward, but we proceeded anyway. The bathrooms were disgusting and had no toilet paper or paper towels. When our food was served, it tasted like store-bought, prepackaged food. On top of that we were not offered any extra BBQ sauce and they did not have any at the tables. It was very expensive and not at all worth what we paid for. You could get better tasting BBQ for a better value at HEB about 30 mins away. It would be worth the drive.

I hate leaving poor reviews but I've tried this place twice and wasn't impressed either time. Their prices online do not reflect in store. When we arrived the restaurant was so so smokey it burned our eyes and stayed like that the entire time. The guy up front was short on the phone and borderline rude when we ordered. We ordered a loaded potato,a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides and a kids meal. The fountain machine was broken so we ordered 2 sodas in a bottle. The total was over $50 which was surprising when comparing prices online. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The potato salad and coleslaw didn't get eaten. They were bland and looked as bad as they tasted. The potato was actually good but much smaller than most places with similar prices. Honestly the best part was the nuggets in my kids meal. Now that I think about it, the kids meal includes a drink but we didn't get one since the fountain was broken. I really hoped it would be better the second time around but we were...

It's a shame we can't go higher then 5 stars. I would definitely give more then 5 if I could. My brother and I went there today. I've been wanting to try it forEVERRRR! I was NOT disappointed! His bbq is every bit as good as my oldest brothers. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs with beans and potato salad. I took a bite of the ribs and my reaction was: "OH MYY!" Jack heard me and came out to talk to us,lol. He said 'I heard an 'Oh my?' Lol. He talked with us for quite a bit. On a side note, his potato salad does have onions in it....I'm not a fan of raw onions but I'm VERY impressed with his potato salad. You HAVE to try it! Thank you, Jack, for making such great bbq and making us feel at home. Will...
