Probably the worst fast food service I have ever seen in my life. After buying my food I literally paused a few seconds just to think about how how it is possible that the manager has not fired these employees. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and was met by an aggressive and cold voice that quckly muttered, " Welcome to Jack in the Box, WHAT DO YOU WANT?" After I said my order the lady just quickly said "That will be $10.20, pull over." As much as I am annoyed by the employees that ask you "Will that be all?" or "Do you want an apple pie with that?", I have never realized that subconsciously it just makes me feel better when ordering. Throughout my entire interaction with these Jack in the Box employees I felt incredibly uncomfortable. I pulled over to the window and was met my a glaring and scowling lady who didn't even make eye contact. I said "Hi," but she just stuck out her hand for the credit card without even saying anything or looking at me. I was like "Wtf" in my mind, but I just gave her my card. She swiped it, and almost immediately gave me my meal. I was at least happy that my I got my meal so quickly, but the lady did not say a single thing in her interaction with me. She just handed me my meal and drink and walked away to the back of the kitchen for whatever reason. I looked in my bag and realized she did not give me a straw. I looked through the window and I could hear loud talking from the back of the kitchen. In my mind I was like "Is this place for real?" and I tapped on the window since apparently these employees are paid to be antisocial and hostile. Some other lady that was taking orders inside hear me and I yelled to her that I didn't receive a straw. She looked at me with an upset look, sarcastically nodded her head, grabbed a straw, slowly walked to me, and guess what? She didn't say a single word. I did not have any verbal communication with a single employee except when ordering. I don't know why, but the terrible service put me in a grumpy mood as I left. I was really hungry, and when I got home I immediately opened my burger. The burger fell apart due to rushed and sloppy making of the burger. No wonder they gave me my meal so quickly. I am never going back to this Jack in the Box. I am literally so annoyed with this Jack in the Box that I am writing this review at midnight instead of working on an essay. Read moreOrdered a burger, fries, onion rings,and chicken tenders. There was 1 person ahead of us in line. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes in the drive thru, we finally get our food. Except instead of chicken tenders and onion rings, they gave us a fish sandwich. We go in to get our correct order and they take the fish sandwich, which we had opened to see if it was the burger, and promptly give it to the next people in line at the drive-thru. That's very unsanitary and kind of disgusting so we tell the employees that we would much prefer a refund. They offered to make the food but it would take a few minutes. We didn't want to wait any longer and we also really didn't want to eat the proven sketchy food so we declined. They leave us at the counter for about 5 minutes as they call their boss. When the boss asks why we wanted a refund, they said it's because they gave us the wrong order because they couldn't find the chicken or onion rings. These are items on their menu. It's not like we ordered something unusual, so I don't know why they didn't have them. Or they could have just said they didn't have any and we would have chosen something else. Finally got the refund, but the employee acted like we were in the wrong and he was doing us a favor by giving us the refund. Worst service ever. Your poor sweet manager. A Hispanic woman, maybe middle age? She tries SO HARD to make up for how utterly surly and RUDE the employees are. She's a GEM. BLESS HER.
First visit: I ask for curly fries, I get regular. No big deal, I'll try again. The person at the window was obviously BRAND NEW and struggling. No real fault there, apart from her actually leaving my bag of food in the window while it was raining instead of handing it to me... hey, I'll take any form of hydration where I can get it, I'm about the hydro homie lifestyle.
Second visit: I ask for a 10-piece nugget (and repeat myself twice!) And the gentleman taking orders 08/30/2020 around 9:20ish AM just said, "I didn't hear no ten nuggets." And gave me five. Then gave attitude when I politely said, "Oh I'm sorry it was supposed to be 10." Dude. Easy fix. Drop five more in your dirty fryer and drop your attitude.
