Los 3 Regios Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

I was in the mood for tacos, and I didn’t want to drive far from my house. Seeing that this restaurant is the closest, I decided to try it out after driving by it countless times. Here is what I got!

♡ Birria Tacos. 8/10! The tacos were very delicious, and the birria meat was tender and flavorful! Honestly, it tasted really good on its own without dipping in the consomé. Speaking of the consomé, I thought it was good and not too salty which I like. For my salsa, I chose salsa verde, and I thought it was just fine. It wasn’t as flavorful as I’d like though, and I would probably choose another salsa to try next time I come here.

♡ Al Pastor. 6/10! This was just okay. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but the meat was a little too dry for me. Adding the salsa verde on top definitely helped though.

｡ ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ ｡ FINAL VERDICT: All in all, I thought the food was still pretty good, and I love the convenience of having a restaurant like this close to my neighborhood. There is ample amount of parking space too. I would definitely come back and try out their other menu...

I don't normally post reviews but I felt the need to since the purchase my mother ordered seems like a rip-off. Today my mother ordered a "Large" menudo to go and paid $15. She always orders my husband a menudo for his birthday. Unfortunately we moved too far from where she originally would buy it from and she decided to give Los 3 Regios restaurant a try. Normally in other locations a large is a tub and a small is considered the size they gave her at los 3 regios. Although the flavor was good the quantity was definitely not worth $15. The container was barely 1/3 full of food (Hominy and some pieces of the meat) and everything was just broth. The pictures I took was before pouring into a bowl and pictures of the broth in the bowl which 3 pieces of meat fell into as well while the see through container shows the food without the broth. We know now not to order from here. Please make sure to check the food order before walking out of the establishment because if it was me I would have went back to ask...

I went to check this place out since its under new management. Let me just say everything I got was amazing. Even the service. Its rare I leave a 5 star review, but this small business deserves it. The birria tacos were amazing 10/10. The consome that comes with it extremely flavor and a decent amount. I do wish the order was a bit bigger for the birria tacos because they were sooooo good! Their street tacos were also really good. The fajita was tender and flavorful. The tortilla for the tacos was also perfect. I only wished their red salsa was a bit more flavorful and the green salsa a bit more spicy. I honestly enjoyed everything I got. I also ordered an agua de jamaica and it was so refreshing. I wish they had limonada and I need to try their horchata next. Their service was a 10/10 the man at the register was so nice and answered all my questions. Let's go support this...
