First off, there's a lot to unpack on this review. There's no longer Pizza Inn in my area of Tarrant County and maybe the entire metroplex. If so; I now know exactly why. I put in my order comments to make the crust well done. Being this small, and a thin crust, I was expecting really crispy crust. As you can see, the crust looks barely cooked. It was chewy, doughy and completely flavorless. I also got 5 meats, and like the crust, it was still flavorless. Every single one of them. So while I was waiting the few mins extra for my pizza, there was woman picking up her personal pizza as well. The employee was polite, offered napkins, cheese and peppers. The customer declined and told have a nice day in a pleasant demeanor. Now when I walked up to get my pizza, the female employee handed me my pizza and said "here"! I asked for cheese and peppers, and was told "we have to charge for them". I paid a dollar for 2 packets of each and not another word spoken. So in closing (sorry for being long winded on this one) visiting Houston for work, remembered what pizza inn used to be, and it's definitely not that any more. If I could give this place less than zero (great movie), I would. Customer service, reading special instructions, and the food all fail on this one. If you're in Houston, do not be lazy like I was if you want good pizza. I'm sure there's plenty, but this definitely isn't worth it. Even if...
Read moreI'm not one to write bad reviews about restaurants. But this one is warranted. I have eaten at numerous Pizza Inn establishments. This one is by far the worst. I always order thin crust pizza. This pizza was made with zero sauce. I walked right out of the restaurant and opened the box, and it was dry as saltine crackers. I went back inside and showed the gentleman behind the desk who proclaimed he was the owner. I showed and explained to the guy that it needed sauce. He shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care. So I explained that if he didn't want to make it correct, then I would never return as a customer. He shrugged like he didn't care. You have an Italian in your restaurant trying to help you make pizza correctly and you want to shrugg your shoulders. That's ok I hope your doors close, bc I wouldn't order your pizza if it was the last pizza place in Earth. Good luck to you, but I'm sure you will fail bc you...
