The store closes at “11:00 p.m” I stopped by on Monday May 13, 2024 at 9:15 pm. after coming in from out of town and asked for blackened tenders. I drove all across the lone star state. I could have literally stopped at 100 other Popeyes locations. I chose this one as it was closer to home. I was told they didn’t have any blackened tenders. When I asked why they said they just didn’t. I asked for the store number just so I could contact the person in charge for some clarity as that is my go to meal and never had an issue placing an order before. As a former Popeyes employee during my collage years I know they were just being lazy and didn’t want to make that drop. I waited at the window to speak to the manager in charge. She finally came to the window and refused to give me her name. She had no name tag just her gray shift manager shirt. She said “wow you’re doing all this all for some tenders, you’re really gonna complain about tenders” yes, indeed I am. If you are in charge of an establishment that sells CHICKEN TENDERS and not only do you not have them but on top of that you’re being rude of course I’m going to complain. I know she was the shift manager because of her gray shirt, yet she insisted that she didn’t know who the manager was or what the managers name is. She said she didn’t even know who was the owner of the store and that I could call corporate if I wanted to. Why do your shift managers or other employees don’t know who’s in charge? That’s weird and kind of ridiculous for such a big chain company like Popeyes. This message is for Popeyes, please update your hours if food items aren’t going to be available 2 hours before closing. The guy at the window said “we only have classic” before I could even continue placing the order. I get it people are ready to go home and probably decided to close out early. With that being said just update your hours and don’t advertise being open until 11 when the kitchen shuts down at 9 pm. Also please introduce the person responsible for this store to the people who work there. Wether it’s an owner, general manager, or regional manager that person needs to make an appearance at the store, introduce him or her self and leave some contact information to better support the staff members. I’ve been to different Popeyes locations a million times and never have I encountered such rude staff. A little politeness and clear information regarding the chain of command can really go a long way...

Today (07/24/24) I went to get a 3 piece dinner, I asked for dark meat, in fact we had to drive up to the window to even be understood since the mic was so messed up and made it clear face to face we wanted ALL DARK 3 piece dinner. i open the box and low and behold a big fat breast !!! I backed up to the window and nicely asked for all dark meat “Valarie” replied stating they “no longer allow all dark or all white it is all mixed” but then said they would “fix it for me” then returned the box with TWO SPICY breast. I ordered mild. My boyfriend recently had his wisdom teeth which we stated is the reason is why he needs all dark as it isn’t as dry then they give us SPICY lol something he can’t have for 2 weeks after the procedure. Like really? in what world do you go to an FOOD establishment let alone a CHICKEN place and they deny you to choose what kind of meat you would like? This is horrible and no Popeyes has ever told me that. This location is trash along with the other boy who is constantly complaining when I ask for all dark meat! ITS YOUR JOB. Read moreThis is the worst popeyes experience I had ever. It started when I went through the drive thru. I had a coupon for a 6 piece tender, 2 sides & 2 biscuits. I told her the Blackened tenders! With 2 red beans & rice. When I receive my order , it was regular tenders. I went inside , and shown the manager it wasn’t blackened. She told me NO, and that didn’t say that. On the receipt it shows Sarai as the Host. But I don’t think that was the manager. It was a Hispanic lady. Further more, she told me I didn’t say blackened. That no one on the headset heard that, and that I need to pay the difference. Then walked away from me. During that duration also, an other lady was waiting for her messed up order. The manager and staff disregarded me. My girlfriend had to go inside and talk to the manager. The manager claimed that they didn’t do blackened items there. Which is odd because it is on the menu. She didn’t offer a refund, or anything else. The food was disgusting, dissatisfying, and more. I want my refund … and this to be looked into. Because whoever owns this Popeyes… franchise or corporate. Needs to be known. Also the manager was talking to her staff very rudely! She was arguing with them about who broke a headset.
